If you've seen [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1645089/]Inside Job[/url] - which I [I]highly[/I] recommend everybody should watch to get a basic understanding of Wall Street and the role it plays in American politics - you'll know that this is some interesting, seedy shit, worthy of an HBO drama. It would both serve to be entertaining and inform an audience that might otherwise go ignorant of what is happening in the US and A.

One potential problem I can see with this would be political and economic pressure on the people involved, as was faced by the creators and people who appeared in Inside Job. However, with some solid funding and a few well-established names producing and acting in it, assuming a well-done and successful series, I think it could really have a big impact on how the American people see this issue.

I know this isn't much of an OP and this idea has probably been suggested before, but the idea just popped into my head and was floating around and I wanted to put it into writing before I lost it, and why not do it here and subject it to some discussion.
