Iron Maiden, for 7 years now. :buddy:
Queen, listened to them ever since I was born pretty much since Dad used to play them.
Actually, you just reminded me of Queen. Listened to them for a long time.
Oasis I think. For bands I still listen to and have listened to regularly since then. But idk. Metallica is the oldest band I know I had listened to when I was younger because apparently The Black Album put me to sleep when I was a baby. But I don't really listen to Metallica much.
Megadeth, Queen
Oasis, been listening to them since I was 2 :kiddo:
I actually don't listen to any of the artists I listened to when I was a kid anymore. Mainly because I listened to whatever was in the charts, which at the time was stuff like Boyzone and A1.

Surprisingly, Guns N' Roses :3: I was given 2 cassette tapes worth of greatest hits. Thats all I listened to when I was a kid. Had a decent stereo set, and that album stayed in it.
Iron Maiden. They're pretty much THE band which shaped my tastes today. Heard them when I was about 8 years old. Parents were out and they hired a girl who lived next door to us to babysit me. She was a proper massive metalhead and I went to bed and she shoved on iron maiden and it woke me up and i came downstairs and was like "wat is that o ye " Metalhead ever since :3: I wish she didn't move away, she was really nice and would have been a good friend :saddowns: she's like 21-22 or something now though :v: So I've been a fan 8 years :buddy:
Pink Floyd

:hfive:
I only really started listening to music at the end of 2008 >: Before that I was the kind of person who was like "I don't dislike music I just don't care about listening to it"
Jefferson Airplane probably. Maybe Slipknot.
My brother got me into Maiden (HMM THERE SEEMS TO BE A COMMON THEME) when I was a mere 6 years old.
Queen, The Kinks, Motorhead and The Beach Boys since I was about 3ish, so 12 years. Blame my dad :v:
Stereophonics, for 13 years.
I've not been listening to the classics the longest like all you old type :v: I think the band I've been listening to the longest is Fall Out Boy, first heard them when I was 14, and just could not get them out of my damn head.
The band that was my favorite for the longest was Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their music is very eclectic and has really helped me stay open minded. I still love them, but kinda listened to them too much.
It's hard to say because I usually get really into a band, and then move onto the next band. So I guess I'll just list the bands I've been really into. System of a Down - Got into them in middle school I believe, this was the first time I've ever really listened to a band. Metallica - Listened to them all throughout high school I believe. Pink Floyd - The end of high school until now, which is maybe three or four years.
The Rolling Stones.
Mastodon
Pink Floyd I'm not as crazy for them as I used to be, I still like to listen to them.
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Smashing pumpkins/the misfits i've been listening to both since i was 5
mindless self indulgence... 4 years followed by lamb of god at 2 years
My parents fed me Pink Floyd when I was four and I've been listening to them ever since. :buddy:
Pink Floyd/Queen/Led Zeppelin, and Metallica And for something like 15/15/15/12 years, respectively. Mostly because I cannot remember anything from before I was five or so.
The Police for about 6 years.
