I was at the movie store when I noticed this movie sitting on the shelf. It said "From the director of 7even" so of course I decided to rent it. I thought it was really great and had some fucking awesome parts in it. The plot was, well, really out there, but still interesting, and there was a lot of edge of your seat parts so you're sure to be entertained. It kinda reminded me of one of the hellraiser films where this guy seems to be trapped in some nightmare world.
It's about this rich mother fucker who has tons of money and is a total prick. For his birthday his brother gives him a card for this company, saying he'll have fun. He starts hearing about it from people but still can't figure out exactly what it is, and eventually ends up signing up for it. and from there things get craaaazy
My only complaint [sp]Didn't like the ending's ending. Would've preferred it just end with him jumping off the building instead of this TRIPLE SURPISE shenanigans. Not to mention how ridiculous it is that there would be a company like this. Jesus christ who designs a game that involves you shooting your brother and making you feel like shit that's just fucked up.[/sp] But hey I still really enjoyed the rest of the movie so whatever

there's also a 3 minute trailer, it's on my DVD but not on youtube but whatever, trailers that long usually end up giving away too much. In fact you're really better off not even watching the TV Spot, I kinda enjoyed this film more going into it with no idea what so ever as to what the film was about.
I'd give it an 8.8
if the ending was the way I wanted it I'd give it a 9.5 instead.

I've seen this movie on the shelf at my local video stores, never really looked into getting it though. Sean Penn is a pretty awesome actor so perhaps I might if you haven't already clicked, you've just lost the game have a look at it next time.
Awesome movie, you never know what is real and what is not. And i loved the ending, how it all seems so random.

I have that! I liked the ending. Unfortunate, the losing the game and all.
Every one of us just lost the game.
Also, movie seems...intriguing.
Everything was good in this movie except the ending. Not gonna spoil it, I'll just say that it was completely unbelievable(to me) that certain people could know certain things were going to happen in exactly a certain way.
The movie had already asked a lot of the viewer to buy into the whole suspension of disbelief of what was going on before that point, but that was too much.

remember they did a fucking shit load of testing, so we just have to assume that's how they were able to figure out what he'd do. or hell maybe they had multiple areas set up in case he went somewhere else, you just have to use your imagination and go with the flow there.
