I still don't get why anyone wants this. I have been calling for this since day one and everything is so much better now that it has happened.
No longer are people afraid to post their opinions, since they can't be boxforted into irrelevance. Now, people post what they think instead of clicking some stupid fucking like button.
You guys can see the problems a ratings system creates. It stifles independent thought and breeds massive circlejerks. Just look at reddit. FP's system is better, but it is still not very good, and quite frankly it is nice to see ratings gone from SH.

They should be gone everywhere, if someone disagrees they can surely articulate why they do so.
