So today I went with one of my friends to Richmond park and she modeled for a few photos. I experimented a bit taking photos in the shade and using a DIY reflector I made this morning in order to capture the natural light without being in the harsh sun.

Any criticism would be greatly appreciated.
I really like how 1211 looks, but in all of the pics your model looks depressed. Even 1259 looks lackluster, as far as the model's energy goes.
We were trying to get some shots for the competition, of which the theme was 'isolation'. I think she carried it on while we were trying to do some normal shots.

All I know about model shoots is that outside of a studio, unplanned moments always turn out the best.

Looks nice, though 1211 seems a tad overdone.
I actually liked the original 1211. Pretty snazzy overall though :dance:

Ahhh silky smooth bokeh.. What lens did you use might I ask?
Helios 44M-2(70's Soviet lens) as with most of my shots. I love old MF primes for anything but sports/candid photography (because I'm too poor to afford the modern equivalent which is as good as this).

Only cost me £10 so I can always buy another if I scratch it up (it is already a bit scratched), because it's cheaper than buying a filter for it :v:
they're looking good! I personally have gone way against the saturated look but I think you have pulled it off alright. The editing on 1163 looks heaps cooler (as in, temperature) than the rest of the set, and when viewing or displaying photos as a set you want them to be as consistent as possible :smile:

That shot was really difficult, because she was in the shade without using a reflector, and the background was very saturated in comparison, so I couldn't get one area looking consistent without the other looking to be a high temp.
The composition feels very weird. It's like she's always cut off or pushed in the corner.
