• Man walks across America, takes 2,700 shots and makes timelapse
Well, he didn’t actually walk all the way across America, but in his time lapse movie he does. Check out this great stop motion movie created by Peter Cole. There’s over 2,700 individual shots all taken on a Canon 5D Mark II and a 24-70 f/2.8 lens then edited down into a time lapse creation. Apparently there’s a little corporate influence behind the video, because Peter and his company pitched the concept to Levis Jeans, and they sponsored the production. Take a look at the video after the jump along with a behind the scenes one if you’re interested!
I thought it was pretty neat
Whoa....
Holy shit, that must have taken forever to put together. I would never have the patience to do that.
That guy must have shitloads of patience. [editline]02:55AM[/editline] and strong muscles to smile
Looks like an awesome road trip...
I shat bricks by the time I got to the high-fiving part.
I :fork: videos like this, they are inspiring but not for an awesome cause like this.
Pretty cool. Must have taken a long time to make.
I remember hanging out near the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges as a kid. I have got to go back there some time.
im surprised he didnt get shot
that looks so cool. i wanna make something like that some day
This is the Flash on his daily stroll.
im surprised he didnt get shot
why would anyone shoot him?
This is fucking awesome.
why would anyone shoot him?
America durrrrr you get shot durrrr :downs:
Really cool how it looks like he's walking. Must have taken some time to get that right.
That was really sweet. I wanna travel across my country now. haha
Well that was awesome.
That was really sweet. I wanna travel across my country now. haha
Once I get enough money I'm planning to travel around the world. The last thing I want to be is one of those poor schmucks who sit at their office all day every day until they grow old and die alone and unhappy. If we're given only one life, might as well enjoy it.
I loved the video but the guy's shit-eating grin was awful. Also in the making of "The biggest challenge was taking that idea and making it a reality", wowww you mean the hardest thing with the film was making it? Fucking incredible!
It doesn't look like he literally walked across america but rather walked through a few towns along the way I was expecting some Forrest Gump up in here
I thought he actually walked.
Can anybody tell me what that old western town place is that he walks through near vegas? I went there as a child and do not recall the name of it.
Quite inspiring. [editline]03:49AM[/editline] especially in the end of the behind the scenes where they were playing with sparklers, I lol'd.
I thought he was the real Forrest Gump when I read the title.
Stop motion is awesome. I wish there were more videos like this.
I thought this was gonna be like that German guy who made a timelapse of him walking from bei jing to his house in Germany.
Making sure every pic followed is predecessor probably took forever.
Speedhax. :<
I love how in the pictures of him in Las Vegas he high fived like 30 people in a row. :3:
