During the situation in the Near East, Protests in France against the war in Gaza degenerate. Very violent confrontation were observed between demonstrators and security forces resulting in casualties on both sides.
The riots took place in the Barbès in the 18th Paris district. Members from the Jewish Defense League (JDL, Ligue de Défense Juive in french) were present during the riots.

The situation is only gonna get worst before it gets better.
Really not a good look when what should be a peaceful demonstration turns into a violent protest.
Doesn't do your cause any justice, and if anything detracts from it.
This keeps happening. Even here in little Norway there were pro-Palestine riots in 2009.

No one died, but a bunch of people were injured, a few cars were burned and hundreds of people were arrested.
I'm against the occupation as much as the next guy, but there's no way I'm getting behind these violence-spurring dickheads who are only looking for an excuse to break things.
why they are taking this stupid conflict beyond its specific geographical location is beyond me
"Allah Akbar" wut
you know france banned people protesting in support of palestine? they really love arabs over there.

They also love Jews. France has some of the highest rates of antisemitism in Europe, with one of the highest, perhaps the highest rate, of Jewish emigration in the world. Sadly, racism is rampant in that country.
Also a little note the manifestation was forbidden by the french government itself. They've braved the interdiction.
What does France have to do with Palestine?
Seriously, what the fuck do those people think they're doing, what do they hope to accomplish? France sending soldiers to fight and die for a unfamiliar country on another continent? France giving said country financial support instead of spending it on its own people? Why would they ever do this?
This is just ridiculous.
If anything this just gives them, their cause and their side a bad name.
That is unexpected

Because there happens to be a fuck load of middle eastern immigrants in many european countries. That's why, and ofcourse they happen to sympathize with the palestinians
Thats right, protest against violence with violence. good job.
Err, what exactly are the protestors trying to accomplish by protesting a war that is accouring across the world? If you really want to do difference go to Gaza and protest.

You know that news can travel between countries right dude
Not everyone can afford to buy a plane ticket to gaza
Protests are designed to bring attention to something, I'm pretty sure people in the Gaza Strip are well aware of the bombs being dropped on them
This made the news, so it's a successful protest really, though the message was kinda ruined by the violence

This. Middle Easterners and North Africans with Islamic backgrounds are mostly to blame for attacks against the Jews in France today. The native French are not the problem; they've treated the Jews very decently since World War II.
Europe is a battleground for this issue anymore.

And that's the thing. They're not protesting about the treatment of Syrians, you know, Israel's neighbour, in which 100,000+ people have been killed. But, the second a possible Jew is involved, better bring out the hatred.

#FreeOurPalestinians
Bunch of fucking savages. Any excuse for violent misfits to come out of the woodwork and ruin a protest. Hope they get the crap beaten out of them (The people escalating the violence) by the police.
