Disagree. Looked immense till they shafted themselves by making it exclusive, announcing paid DLC as integral story parts and making it look too generic. Shame really since it looked so good at the beginning.

I've heard from people that have played the game that Alan Wake is actually a really impressive horror game by its atmosphere and setting alone. You can't really judge a game by trailers alone, if the product now is radically different from what you saw 4-5 years ago then that's probably a good thing. Just because they've changed it doesn't mean they've changed it for the worse. By that logic I could say that Half-Life 2 looks like a generic shooter and that it doesn't look anything like it did back when it was announced. Only if you've never played HL2 would that be true as the game is very impressive and it did change the way FPS games are looked upon.

Alan Wake: Heavy Rain for 360.
It doesn't look that interesting to be honest. I would much rather get my hands on Red Dead and split/second on the 18th.
