BBC Three has commissioned new reality game show I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse. The show will see eight contestants trapped together in a shopping centre as they face the walking dead.
The contestants will face tasks to ensure their survival, and must make difficult decisions in order to avoid the lethal bite of a zombie and elimination.

I can only imagine that this is Zai Bennett's way of proving that BBC Three doesn't deserve to be axed. Still - the BBC have done worse:

Whats the point when
1. You know what's going on and
2. You cant hurt/kill anyone/anything.

BBC needs more money.
cmon BBC, that piece of crap you have about zombies is already bad enough. hope this doesn't make it to BBC America
I have an absolute obsession with Zombies, but this sounds retarded.
What if the zombies break out? Can't BBC think of the moral hazard that comes with hosting a show like this?
oh boy terror is reality without the terror.
Hasn't there been similiar shows like this? Set in wastelands where people need to survive and such? Never really saw the point in it, you know it's all just fake. Maybe it'll be interesting to watch if there is nothing else on, though.
Sounds a lot like this

Unless its anything like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Set I won't give a damn.

huh

Especially if they try to have forced sexual intercourse with pedestrians. Why can't BBC think of the children?
I literally have no idea how this show could be enjoyable to watch unless they give them all the drug datura
When I saw the title, I was hoping for something like Charlie Brooker's Dead Set series, which was awesome, but this is interesting too I guess
I was also reminded of this - which Channel 4 tried to make us believe wasn't faked in any way.

Yet I think it's a much more interesting concept.
Tax payers money going to something of interest for once other than eastenders..
10% zombies, 90% survivors bitching at each other. Just like the movies.

They already have my TV license money dammit.

In the Flesh is actually really good, the social commentary, acting, concept, etc are all really up to and beyond par a lot of the time imo
That and it's such a simple thing, like why haven't we had a post-zombie-apocalypse before

I have watched some of that series and its OK at best, but it has some real dumb plot twists.

Reminds me of this.
How about more Dead Set instead

The Colony is actually the only reality series i've watched and enjoyed
Might as well have another season of Walking Dead at that point...

In the Flesh is actually a pretty good show, it's not your typical "We gotta run away from these zombies, shooty bang bang" type deal and it's actually a really interesting concept.
If they're trapped there, literally unable to leave or make any contact or anything with the outside world, and they provide the right, constant atmosphere with speakers constantly blasting undead groaning and moaning at them 24/7 and bloodstains and gore and such, then yeah, you would see genuine terror because no matter what it will get to you even if you know its fake. You'll get poor sleep, you won't have any diversion or stimulation, and the incessant droning will wear you down. Before long you'll be a short trip from fully believing it.
But this will just be Survivor or Big Brother with a zombie theme.
