Most of the stuff on the tracks themselves are fairly close to what the replays will look like thanks to PD (the creators of GT) dropping the framerate to 30 fps and adding a bunch of post-process effects, though.

Seriously, it's not hard to find info on the GT damage system.

It's always the crowds that look bad. I just want shrapnel to hit the crowd and take out some people.

That does look pretty good. Imagine if the developers of GT5 had a PC to work with, it would be a phenomenal game.

As for everything else, it looks like they just had some custom camera angles, and some touching up. But in terms of models and textures, it's pretty much the same as it would be in the game. I really want this game but I also want a decent steering wheel/pedal setup for it. Can anyone recommend a decent setup for a game like this without the ridiculous price tag?

This doesnt look completely realistic. Something about it seems off. Its nice and crisp looking. But everything seems too bright. Like the colors pop a little too much.

It seems that all you have to do to make any racing sim have beautiful graphics is add some really nice reflections. Maybe shadows, too. I wish they could make my PC sims this good looking.
