Virtual barber shop - General

This is a very cool virtual barber shop just plug in your headphones and close your eyes. [media]http://youtube.com/watch?v=IUDTlvagjJA[/media] It sounded, to me at least very real. I hope you enjoy the virtual sound experience.

This is not a screamer trust me. It's really cool, but you have to have headphones for full effect. The effect is called binaural recording. Really cool. They need to make a video for this! That would be awesome. Close your eyes while watching this and imagine what's going on. So cool. Once again: It's not a screamer, I sware.

When he whispered I like twisted in my chair and almost fell out. The head shaving wasn't so bad because I get my hair buzzed. I did have trouble breathing when the bag went over my head, though.

Wish this could somehow be implemented in games but I don't think it actually can, Maybe if you hear a sound off to your left it splits the sound up into 2 channels and modifies them just so slightly, simulating the slight difference in distance as your other ear, as well as quieting it down in another ear... I think it's best to just stick up 5 speakers and go surround sound, on the other hand a game like FEAR, you could throw in some ambient sound effects using this technology, like Alma laughing real close to your left ear or something

Sat all the way through and didn't freak out. It was really cool though. They should do one where the talk in between two mics. Then they would be talking inside of your skull :ohdear:
