Macron said the two media organizations “did not behave like press outlets, but behaved like agents of influence and propaganda” which spread “serious falsehoods,” Macron said. “I will never give in to that.” It was Macron’s first time meeting Putin. Aides said the French leader raised “all issues” including state-sponsored cyber hacking. The Macron camp blamed Russia for a hack just before he defeated Marine Le Pen in the second round of the presidential election. Macron and his Russian counterpart also agreed on the need to restart dialogue on the situation with Ukraine.
Also http://www.politico.eu/article/macron-says-long-trump-handshake-not-innocent/
French President Emmanuel Macron said his extended handshake with Donald Trump before a NATO summit was “not innocent” and intended to show he did not make even small concessions. In an interview with the Journal du Dimanche published on Sunday, the French leader said his interaction with the American head of state was “a moment of truth.” “My handshake with him was not innocent,” Macron said. “We need to show that we won’t make small concessions, even symbolic ones, while not overhyping things either.”
The man has balls.
Jeez. Whatever you think of Macron, you have to admit this was a damn ballsy move.
Seems to be a serious man. Good. We're desperately in need of those, I hope he'll maintain this attitude.
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? These people truly are insane.
The West has a real leader now.
balls of steel.
Putins actually got someone who's going to stand up to him now. Good. [editline]29th May 2017[/editline] we don't need another cockholster for Putin right now
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? It's funny how anyone who doesn't just accept Russia's aggression is labeled as instigating another cold war by the right. Same thing happened when Hillary spoke about pretty much everything that was later confirmed by Intelligence Agencies. Meanwhile our NATO allies are losing confidence in the US leadership.
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? These people truly are insane.
Russia is invading their neighbors and subverting Western Democracy. We're not the ones starting a cold war.
God I'm glad macron one at least for international reasons. This guy has guts
this is not the face of a pleased man
The face of a man working out how to bake polonium into baguettes.
wow putin is looking old, when did he get a double chin
wow putin is looking old, when did he get a double chin
Somewhere around his third botox injection.
Russia is invading their neighbors and subverting Western Democracy. We're not the ones starting a cold war.
Sorry, you're the other side of a coin.
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? If someone is more pacifist leaning, it's "Imagine how badly they would lose in a fight with Putin!!!!?" If someone is actively standing up to Putin, it's "Woah there mate, you like the dude who wants to start a fight with Putin!!???"
RIP Macron, you did the right thing.

No one will share intel, no one will dare work with us on anything lower than surface level, all because our president is a dangerous buffoon. Russia's little project has officially crippled us. We're out of the picture.
RIP Macron, you did the right thing.
If Macron dies then everyone will know it's Putins doing. And one world leader assassinating another is a quick way to turn a cold war hot.
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? These people truly are insane.
lol you believe the first ever ended? it was called perestroika (reformation) not zakrytiye (closure) for a reason

There was a rumored Soviet-Era KGB bioweapon which would require simple skin contact (a handshake) and the person would become so bad he would die from heart failure in the next 2-3 days. Conspiracy theorists would explode if Macron actually dies tomorrow or the day after. Just a thought.
Is it really time to start another cold war because John Podesta was stupid enough to click a phishing link? These people truly are insane.
You can't be serious. If anything, the constant "West vs East" standout should continue on precisely as to not escalate further. Even though these are petty political struggles I never support, Russia must be contained with its current government.

The conspiracy community has been almost completely coopted by radical right-wing politics. Macron being shot by a trained bear with an AK-47 would blip on their radar as an attack by BLM.
The conspiracy community has been almost completely coopted by radical right-wing politics.
How did we go from "Bush did 9/11" to this?
How did we go from "Bush did 9/11" to this?
Makes sense to me. Conspiracy theorists are idiots after all. Makes since they'd go for an idiotic set of policies. Could have easily become hardcore communist conspirators.
Russia is invading their neighbors and subverting Western Democracy. We're not the ones starting a cold war.
TIL intervening in a country slipping further and further to fascism after overthrowing a legitimate government = subverting democracy.
