Even in a tank it must be scary as fuck driving through those deserted streets with those large abandoned apartments looming over you, full of rebels or god knows what.
Tanks moving through a city without infantry support seems like a pretty retarded move IMO
That place is a god damn wasteland, look it. Holy shit.
Laughed a bit when the turret hit the side of that building at 3:30. "thump"
In all honesty I wouldn't feel much safer in a tank than I would do outside it.
Inserts armchair general maxim about tanks and infantry.
Inserts uncalled-for spiteful comment because I can
It still blows my mind that we live in an age where we can strap HD cameras to MBTs and record over two hours of footage with them
That is some damn clever annotation usage.
Fucking hell it must be hell to sit in those cramped t-72s
Inserts uncalled-for spiteful comment because I can
Sorry I just get irritated when I see youtube videos of tanks in a bloody desperate civil war fighting in sub-optimal situations. I have spend many years on the internet theorycrafting in warfare, perfecting my knowledge, ready to inform the world that if you don't back your tanks up with infantry in every single situation you might as well not have tanks. Regardless of any situation on the ground. Build them out of straw and give them sticks to hold and drag them behind the tanks if you have to, but god damn make sure you have infantry.

This is not genius stuff.
For anyone who wants to see something pretty nuts, go to about 42:30 and watch.

If you dont like it then dont watch it no need to start an arguement over nothing
And who cares again? If you dont like it then dont watch it no need to start an arguement over nothing
just report him and move on
Tanks moving through a city without infantry support seems like a pretty retarded move IMO
Can't always see the infantry, they don't hug the tanks that would be a bad idea. Their strategy is basically: 1.Place gets shelled a lot 2.Tanks push through what would be considered the frontlines and drive around causing havoc 3.AFVs taxi troops behind where the tanks are and the infantry begin clearing the area 4.Tanks work to try and support infantry and hopefully once the area is clear the tanks pull back
And who cares again? If you dont like it then dont watch it no need to start an arguement over nothing
The video is fine. I'm laughing at the armchairs that scrape across the floor every time a syrian tank video is posted.
You're the only one here scraping your armchair buddy.
how so? Unless you're not familiar with the term.
The video is fine. I'm laughing at the armchairs that scrape across the floor every time a syrian tank video is posted.
They're in the BMPs if anything. Which could be behind the tank in the convoy. and if not, then whatever, it's interesting to get this perspective, in this detail, and 2 hours of it at that.
lmao i'm just mocking people calm down
"Joke's on you, I was only pretending to be retarded!"
"Joke's on you, I was only pretending to be retarded!"
"Inserts armchair general maxim about tanks and infantry." clearly is a mocking commentary
It's crazy how destructive war can be. Reconstruction after the war is going to be insanely difficult
