When frag movies go too far. I'm not even sure this counts as being a CS:GO frag movie anymore.
:unimpressed:
despite those 2016-ass 3d effects this still looks like it's 10 years old because of all the edginess and weird animations [editline]14th May 2016[/editline] i'm honestly not sure whether i'm impressed or not
The frags were nothing special, but the editing is pretty nuts, I dont know what to think haha, its just so over the top.
what the fuck even is this
holy SHIT that was overedited and the music was hot garbage. and to put an 'In loving memory' on it? Talk about fucking disrespectful.
seems more like a effects demoreel than a fragmovie
They recreated scenes, like whole sections of maps for this.
Respect for the art as it's all made rather than just 'edited' But it completely deducts from the actual frags themselves, so as an art showcase it's great but as a fragmovie it's awful
maroon 5 was literally the last thing i expected like i would've expected tim mcgraw before i expected maroon 5
Great first frag clip. Can't see shit in the distance with all the fog applied. a couple of pistol one taps? cool but I couldn't even see it
I only have two things to say about this video. 1) When I let go of it being a CS:GO frag video, and accepted it as a weird hybrid shooter that combined elements of Portal, Hotline Miami, Daft Punk (how'd they get in there?) and a heavily modded copy of Quake circa 2002, it became infinitely more enjoyable. I'd play whatever's on the screen there. 2) If anyone ever asks, "how can you tell when something's over-crafted," you now have a handy-dandy reference video. You can almost point out, minute by minute, how much effort was put in counter-productively and in what way. Bonus 3) I'm still trying to understand the point of the first minute and a half of the video. I think that's going to be lost on me, forever.
Great first frag clip.
seems more like a effects demoreel than a fragmovie
It looks like an ad for a graphics card.
Can't decide whether I think it's complete garbage or actually pretty cool
Has in loving memory and can't tone down the glow enough to let us see the fucking dates.
Credits where it's due, I want to know how he made the maps look spectacular.
Less is more
Credits where it's due, I want to know how he made the maps look spectacular.
they remade them. This wasn't done in the engine. The editor/animator basically recreates the frags.
"Look at me, i know tricks in Sony Vegas!!!111"
"Look at me, i know tricks in Sony Vegas!!!111"
this video is pretty damn bad but it's hard to say the editor doesn't have talent
holy shit dust 2 looked insane
man the day the maps in-game look that fucking good and holy hell are these some fucking amazing video editing/animating skills; mixed with things that don't need fucking amazing editing skills (for the better)
In some parts it just seems like it was a question of "how many particles and effects can I put on screen without making it completely impossible to tell what's going on."
It's so dense, every image has so many things going on
is that the attention to detail or lack of focus
Say all you want but this was really well-made.
Too bad talent wasted on this.
I don't think a single clip from this abomination was even filmed in CSGO
here's the trailer for the frag film [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvfYWbhE3QM[/hd] [editline]15th May 2016[/editline] quite a difference
well, the trailer was infinitely better. I kind of like the whole limegreen theme
