I remember watching this video a couple of weeks back. Very heartwarming and another reason why dogs are awesome.
dogs best buddies hands down cats ain't got shit on them.
Love how the kids just like 'leave me alone man', even gives that 'Can't believe the shit I gotta deal with' look at 4:03
Probably my favourite part of the video. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/hey8.jpg[/t]
Probably my favourite part of the video. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/hey8.jpg[/t]
"You sure you're okay man?" "leave me alone"
The way this is filmed is really weird to me... seems creepy and voyeuristic. Still cute of course.
1:33 is just ridiculously cute
I didn't know dogs would be so active in their interaction with people. I used to think that you'd have to go to the dog to make them interact with you.
That's an insanely cute dog.
Dogs can get pretty protective of some people. Family right now is dog-sitting a family friend's dog. Dog loves me, my mother, and my brother, but he's only borderline tolerant of dad. Costs dad a bacon treat to get up the stairs and if dad sneezes the dog fucking loses it. Well in just a handful of days, the dog became super protective of my little brother. Like, won't leave his side protective. Its friggen adorable.
I'm not sure if I get it right. The dog likes your dad or not?
I'm not sure if I get it right. The dog likes your dad or not?
Dad has to enter the room, dog barks at him, "Jack, its me, calm down", dog calms down, tolerance achieved. however if he leaves the room for any more than... a minute or two, gotta restart the process.
Damn, i want a dog but i dont have the time to take care of one. :(
I didn't realize some of you had a heart.
I wish I had the money to support me have like a dozen dogs, I would literally never not be smiling. Objectively the best animal in the world.
dogs best buddies hands down cats ain't got shit on them.
Comparing cats and dogs is like comparing cows and sheep - they're all domesticated animals, sure, but they were domesticated for completely different purposes. Why the hell does this shit crop up every single time cats or dogs are mentioned? You could just as easily say that [del]parakeets[/del] [del]donkeys[/del] [del]ferrets[/del] [del]goldfish[/del] (any other animal depending on attribute) ain't got shit on dogs or cats or whatever [editline]3rd October 2013[/editline] CAN'T HUG A GOLDFISH DOGS RULE GOLDFISH DROOL [editline]4th October 2013[/editline] I mean seriously, just put some thought into it: dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years longer than cats have, they were pretty much bred to be loyal working animals who would help humans in various ways (sheepherding, guarding, hunting, etc) and so naturally dogs have become man's best friend not only because they had the ability to help with a variety of tasks, but because enough time has passed in human/dog co-evolution that it eventually became instinctual for them to rely on us. Their instincts have adapted to being subservient companions to human beings. It should come as a surprise to no one that a dog is likely to be more loyal and compassionate than a cat because it's in their nature to do so. House cats have been domesticated for a far shorter length of time than dogs, and they were primarily raised to fulfill a role of vermin control at home. Of course they're not as loyal as dogs - cats were never domesticated for that purpose, nor has adequate time passed for their instincts to change as sufficiently or noticeably as dogs' instincts have. They're still capable of being compassionate, of course, but not to the level of a dog because at the present it simply isn't in their nature. Whether or not that will change, only time will tell. But it's simply a fact that housecats are closer to their wildcat ancestors (African wildcats, if I recall properly) than dogs are to wolves. Put the kid in the OP's video next to a wolf and see if it'll react the same way Comparing cats to dogs like it's black v. white is dumb.
this was ridiculously cute, but i couldn't help but flinch the entire time the dog's teeth became visible. the video could've taken a really drastic turn had the kid somehow hurt the dog's paw when it was pushing it off, and the dog could've snapped on him. :pwn:

I've accidentally hurt my dog (like accidentally pat a spot where she had an injury) and she would never consider biting me. They are that loyal.
dogs best buddies hands down cats ain't got shit on them.
Dude, my cat and I are the best bros ever.
Would anyone know by any chance what breed that is?
Would anyone know by any chance what breed that is?
Pretty sure it's a yellow lab.
Pretty sure it's a yellow lab.
Yeah, looks like a yellow/golden retriever, I used to have one of those.
I've had cats before and a dog right now and I could say I definitely prefer dogs, while both will show emotional support during stressful times for you, at least a dog will never take a swipe at you if it thinks you're it's owner. Fucking cats will try to rip you're eye out just for trying to see whats up randomly.
Oh god, I'm melting away
Fuck, this is the most adorable thing I've seen in a LONG time.
That's almost exactly what my golden retriever does (I know it's a Labrador in the video but still), the moment I start to feel stressed or upset she comes over and waves her paw at me until I take hold of it, she looks me straight in the eye and does this funny little eyebrow raise. Dogs are awesome
I could never commit to keeping a dog/dogs because they require so much care/attention. My brothers dog is always jumping on me and following me around; It's great when you want to play with it but when you are trying to get stuff done or go for a quiet walk it is annoying. I could not stand to keep an animal knowing it is not happy because I cant spend the time with it it deserves.
I love dogs. Cats seem to be really good with babies too, though.
Dude, my cat and I are the best bros ever.
When GTAV came out my cat snuggled with me and watched me cap bustas.
