My friend owes me money, what do? - General

So my friend borrowed my headphones, broke them, and now owes me 25 dollars. I've given him a few weeks to get the money, we agreed he'd give it to me before Christmas break. He didn't. He instead said he's give it to my by the end of the school year, which is horse shit. How do I get my money? I can't really think of anyway to force him to give me the money... Ideas?
