Ya'akov Bolinet Alniak, a well-known figure within the IHH, even wrote a book about the violent incident aboard the Marmara that was boarded by Shayetet commandos as it tried to run the Israeli blockade on Gaza. Nine of those aboard the ship were killed in the ensuing violent clashes and Alniak was apparently one of those who were directly engaged in attacking the Israeli troops. According to the Turkish reports, Alniak, father of two, joined the ranks of ISIS recently and was directly involved in combat in Syria. One of his last Facebook posts before being killed in US strikes on an ISIS camp in Syria read, "My life and death are for Allah".
IHH, the organization that clashed with the IDF on the Mavi Mrmara during the 2010 aid flotilla to Gaza, was previously accused of smuggling arms to militants in Syria, and was even raided by Turkish authorities for alleged ties to Al-Qaida (wikipedia cite, actual link is dead).
Good, let's hope the body count goes up.
Kinda fucked up that the Islamic State is even getting renowned foreign extremists to join.
Kinda fucked up that the Islamic State is even getting renowned foreign extremists to join.
Up till now only Israel considered IHH extremists. Pretty much everyone else considered them a humanitarian NGO.
He was killed killed? I'm assume they made sure he was dead dead too.
It's like the article is attempting incredibly hard to push it's own agenda while using IS as a backdrop.
It's like the article is attempting incredibly hard to push it's own agenda while using IS as a backdrop.
Who would've thought an Israeli news and general content website would try to push a pro Israeli anti Hamas/Palestine agenda in an article about fighting terrorists?
I won't exactly celebrate.. ....But I definitely am not shedding a single tear.
I won't exactly celebrate.. ....But I definitely am not shedding a single tear.
I will. If there is one way to show how much an organisation is hated, it's by having a party on each and everyone of their members graves. (not literally of course, but that'd be fun :v)
