She's cute. Tbh I find girls like that to be as attractive as what's usually considered hot.
It's not so much that I like girls who like nerdy things or have unusual interests, it's more of the actual willingness to admit that they actually like something that can be seen as weird.
It proves their not shallow and not afraid to admit to who they really are.

Yeah I guess I see the appeal in someone who shares your subculture. My wife could probably be called a geek too, though she keeps it very well hidden. She played all the Mass Effect games, and bought all the books, even the fucking horrible ones. She reads an absurd amount of Warhammer 40k fanfiction and even wrote a short story from the perspective of a Cadian 8th sergeant. But outside of our home she's got a very convincing disdainful businesswoman attitude that hides her true nature. I've tried to convince to be open about it, but she's right when she says that there's a stigma against that in her line of work, an legal office type environment.
I hate them. Most of the time, they try way too hard to fit into the subculture, and if that's not the case, I find something about them intolerable.
