Facial animation is overexpressive, textures are low fidelity, the cheesy facial animation gets me the most.
idk I thought it looked okay
I really like the music, it sounds more John Williams then Clone Wars did.

One of the Imperials sounds like he is voiced by Seth Green.
Ehhh I'll give it a shot. Not sure I'll get through the cheesy dialogue though.
A bunch of people are upset on theforce.net because of all the "Unnecessary" killing :v: AKA not killing in Self-Defence.
Have a quote
"To be fair, it's both. The way Kanan behaved with that stormtrooper on the speeder at the very end was... just cold. I've a friend who's now watched it, and said she's not showing her kids it (they're both under 10 and her daughter loves the films), as she was very uncomfortable with that scene after all the PR promoting Kanan."
It's... It's Disney.

the facial animation was underexpressive and stiff half the time. Reminds me of when I first saw transformers prime
I don't think the random explosions are bad for a kid's show. Also the complaint about Kanan being 'cold' with that scene on the speeders, the trooper wasn't a police trooper performing a traffic stop, it was a soldier that had been trying to kill him
I really want this to be Clone Wars 2.0 but it doesn't look like it's gonna turn out that way. Oh well.
Is it just me or are his eye too bright? They look like their glowing.
Reminds me of Dune.

On the contrary, it looks substantially better than Clone Wars when it first came out. I've got high hopes for this, looks really good
"The uploader has not made this video available in your country"
God dammit.
Dialogue is grating but could be worse.
Could be a monologue about how shitty sand is.
Glad to see they aren't gimping the violence out in favor of some kid friendly stuff. While I think the voice acting and the characters aren't the best and probably need some polish the sounds and effects were pretty good and I can see this show improving as much as the TCW did. Hoping it'll end up like the TCW even, straying away from wacky rebel adventures to a more serious tone about the political intrigue of the Empire, Corruption, Stormtrooper episodes, and hopefully Old Clones reliving order 66.
The dialog is... eugh.
Its like the voice actors know how dumb the show really is.
Could they make it more obvious that this protagonist is space Aladdin?
Also the audio direction feels really weird, voices seem too loud and effects too quiet, plus none of it seems synced up correctly. Hopefully that's still WiP.
I'd just like to say as far as pilot episodes/teasers go, they DID have to play it safe with dialogue and action. Needs to be easy to understand importance of characters in the future and drag people directly into the action to show what the series can be. Hold kids' attention, give it a sensibly structured plot that younger viewers can follow but older ones will see nuances in, don't scare off investors, etc
A bit corny, but I'll give it a shot when it starts airing.
Dialogue is a bit iffy, but I'll try to watch it.

I agree, the main thing that stood out to me was the vocals being 3-6 dB louder than they felt like they should be. Also, them saying "end" makes me cringe every time.
Well, they have until I think.. October? So they have until then to fix the audio. The video was made for comic con so it could be mixed differently.
I can't get over that fat Imperial officer
"WELL WHO"S GONNA STOP US EH..YOU?...YOU? *In the most sterotypical English voice ever, I know in the majority of Star Wars media Imperial officers almost always have an English accent but still, I mean just listen to it*"
Immediately after he said that line I almost expected him to say something like
"YOU BLOKES WANNA HEAD DOWN TO THE PUB AFTER THIS AND WATCH THE GAME ON THE TELLY?"
I'll watch it for a season to see how the mature episodes hold up. It's well known that when the writers are allowed to write serious and gritty star wars material, they write some damn good episodes.
Besides I was a big fan of the clone wars, par some of the childish episodes, so i'll give it a shot. It's not like Disney would allow them to advertise with the mature parts of the show, it is being advertised to kids.
the dialogue sounds really off. like, not the content, but literally how it sounds. it's too loud and clear, and it sounds out of place with all of the other sound effects that are mixed in and the music and everything. i don't how to explain it. it sounds like they're literally talking right into a microphone that you'd hear at a speech or something.
Really wish we could get a more mature Star Wars series :(

You'd say that about the first two seasons of TCW and just from trailers alone.
"Oh no! It's a kid's show about some orange Jedi and Anakin doing crazy things or beating up all the bad guys!"
Then it ends up turning into a show where you get into the personal lives of all the Clone Troopers, Political tensions/intrigue, murder, violence, manipulation, and the horrors of war. Hell the Ubaran Arc which had little to no Jedi save for one was entirely composed up of Clones how they know they're more than just expendable and a number. I could easily see Rebels taking that approach at first because they need to secure a viewing audience and get the show going before they can start giving us quality episodes like this.
This looks like it was made in Source Filmmaker.
The production quality seems a little poor to me. I didn't watch Clone Wars much but I'm pretty sure it looked better then that. Also, I was surprised by how many dudes got killed in that scene. It didn't seem very Disney-ish, I'm not complaining though.
The most disappointing thing about this is that Plinket probably won't review it.
Clone Wars was complete ass in its first season, might take a bit for the show to mature.
