i would say superdelegates are still non-democratic, but it makes the party non-democratic rather than the government itself

Theres nothing inherently keeping those two parties in power, you know.

If suddenly everyone in the United States voted for another party for every election for every position in government from now on that wasnt Republican or Democrat, theres nothing they could do to stop that without violence breaking out.
