• Rick Santorum Calls 'SNL' Sketch 'Bullying'

[release]Rick Santorum isn't laughing at a Saturday Night Live sketch that depicted Andy Samberg as him participating in "Yet another GOP debate" from a gay bar in San Francisco's Castro District. The former Pennsylvania senator and current GOP presidential nominee hopeful told New Hampshire radio station WGIR that the sketch counted as "bullying." "The left, unfortunately, participates in bullying more than the right does," he told the radio host. "They say that they're tolerant, and they're anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them and support traditional values." Santorum said he hadn't actually seen the sketch, saying, "I’ve heard about it. I haven’t had a chance to see it. I’ve had a pretty heavy schedule to be honest with you. I’ve heard what it’s about and I’m not surprised, let’s put it that way." The candidate has been outspoken in his criticism of gay rights and has signed a pledge opposing same-sex marriage. He has also been critical of the repeal of the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. Santorum also became the victim of an Internet stunt arranged by gay sex-advice columnist Dan Savage in 2003, when his last name was given a crude definition and became the top Google result when someone searched "Santorum." The candidate told the radio host, "I welcome the criticism."[/release] Source - http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/rick-santorum-snl-sketch-bullying-250073 Video in link Also I bolded my favorite part. I guess hating on gays doesn't count as bullying too.
Tolerance =/= we can't make fun of you if you say something retarded.
What a wankstain.
"The left, unfortunately, participates in bullying more than the right does," he told the radio host. "They say that they're tolerant, and they're anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them and support traditional values."
Santorum do you realize that "traditional values" are intolerance, bigotry, and discrimination? Maybe that's why we don't support you, lube-and-fecal-matter
I saw that SNL skit, it was great.
He hasn't even seen the skit himself, yet he's prepared to be interviewed about what he thinks of the skit? Eh.
How many times is this (awesome) video going to have to be uploaded to this forum?!
Santorum said he hadn't actually seen the sketch
is this guy literally retarded or something
I fail to see how a 3 second joke about the guy gets turned into bullying. Hell. The entire other part of the skit could be considered bullying since it mocks the other candidates. [editline]18th October 2011[/editline]
is this guy literally retarded or something
Yes.
give me your lunch money santorum
It's funny that he supports anti-gay bullying in schools, but doesn't like it when he himself receives stick for being a massive bleeding, gaping oversized CUNT.
i hope that bitch mrs wallace chokes on that apple you have her, you fucking nerd
Guys, when it happens to gays, it's positive peer-pressure. When it happens to Santorum, it's bullying. Get with the hypocrisy already!
I saw that SNL skit, it was great.
Best SNL skit in many years.
Is there somewhere for non-americans to see this skit? Why not expand into Canada Hulu? :zoid:
Wait, SNL is still showing? This is news to me!
Best SNL skit in many years.
Isn't half the show shitty music videos with close ups of product placement and actor cameos?
