So, this is an odd one, But i actually prefer record labels over individual artists, my favourite is Monstercat They only really do electronic stuff, no real vocals. So, do you have a record label you like, or do you just like artist, or just individual songs??? Love to hear your opinions :P
sony music entertainment
no record label is good forever early 4ad, early warp, and pretty much anything ohr put out from 1970-1980 [editline]15th November 2013[/editline] those are from the top of my head but lots of bands just do their own record labels so if we include that i guess headphone dust, kscope, duophonic, etc
Motown because they basically used the same band on all their records.
Hydra Head Records Sargent House
Om Records is one of my favorites. I've enjoyed all the albums I've heard released under this label. [editline]never[/editline] This label releases chill instrumental music usually: EDM, downtempo, instrumental jazz, instrumental hip-hop, house and lounge. I missed some, but that's the gist of it. And since I've been a huge fan of Flying Lotus for quite a few years I'd have to say I do enjoy the Brainfeeder label he started.
Fallen Empire, Legion Blotan and Colloquial Sound Recordings. Had great time dealing with all of them. They are really small and mostly deal with Black Metal.
Virgin Babylon
slap-a-ham (RIP), deep six (they once sent me some LPs in a damp delicious-smelling pizza hut box it was so tight), prank, to live a lie (all hardcore punk labels) and honestly i don't care how cashcow or whatever people whine about them being, relapse has like an infinite list of good shit lbr
level plane and ape must not kill ape have a lot of my favourite bands signed. react with protest also had a decent amount of good bands. im forgetting a few others that i like a lot probably.
