just because an idea is old doesn't mean the video can't be good. it's all about how they implement the idea.

it's obviously a matter of opinion, but from my perspective, their videos just lack any real content in the long run. i almost always leave them unsatisfied.
going into their videos (and i've seen a lot of them, i was subscribed to both for a pretty long time), i can usually apply a mental checklist:
[x] cool editing
[x] some kind of video game reference(s)
[ ] content
and again, i said [I]almost[/I] all of their videos are garbage (imo). they've had a few genuinely good/interesting videos, but overall the prospect that i'm ultimately watching some dudes playing around with editing software doesn't really thrill me

I guess to each his own. I'm still subscribed to both and I really enjoy 99% of the videos that they put out. I guess it's my way of getting a little mindless entertainment every once in a while.
