Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 2006.
They were formed by Phil Bozeman, Brandon Cagle, and Ben Savage.
Brandon Cagle has since then left the band.
Whitechapel put out their debut album The Somatic Defilement in June of 2007
In October 2007, they signed to metal blade records and started working on This Is Exile, released 2008.

Yes, they are deathcore.
