Around the 49:00 mark he talks about the cartoon's revival.
oh my god yes i knew the recent site happenings pointed towards something
Holy shit the amount of hype spewing from me at that headline is enormous
I adore Homestar Runner, have since I was the littlest tiniest baby, and still watch it frequently today (in fact I was just recently playing the game) and now that I've gotten my girlfriend in to it as well, we're both ridiculously hyped for a return
[editline]e[/editline]
Oh, who is the guy who checks all his e-maaaaaaaails? That's him, Strong Baaaaaaaaaaaaaad~
Arise, my styles! ARISE!
Return with strongbad email
ohmygod YES
I'll be amazed if they have the vast majority of characters sound the same, despite the amount of time since they've probably done those voices and changes in audio recording tech.
Here's hoping for a slew of new one off/background characters for me to fall back on when I need a name for something. I mean this in a good way and am glad to hear this.
They can change characters all they want as long as freakin' Homsar stays the same.

ehh the humor got really forced after the telltale games
Best news I've heard in awhile!
Personally, hoping for some new "Teen Girl Squad".
Holy fuck yes I knew they weren't gone for good
As excited as I am, the quoted bit in the op makes me angry because of the lack of effort.
What's a homestar runner?
i'm going to die happy in my life
So he really did mean "when we least expected it"
I almost jumped off my chair in excitement

The problem with the Telltale games were they were only fan-service and were filled with way too many references to old jokes instead of new ones.

episode 5 yeah, but dangeresque 3 especially was pretty self-sufficient, the main ones that were 100% callbacks were the 5th and 2nd episodes but the second episode can stand on its own merit just because the setting and the way it presents it are inherently humorous. You don't have to binge-watch everything on the website to understand it, but with episode 5 it's like "this was one of the games in that email once. check it out." like all the damn time
I wonder if there will be cross pollination between Aquabats and Homestar now, especially since they did a song together and a Strong Bad dopleganger appeared in the Aquabats TV show.
