Well, now he can say he has salvaged a game series from disappearing completely.
Too bad we're all probably going to die because of it.
Bip Bop reminds me of Nyet III, except less subtle on the whole "evil" thing.

True true. Also it really is pretty cool that through his efforts (and his dad's floppy drive) he was able to bring it back to life. Sure it didn't seem all that great as a Breakout game, especially since many of those games can make it all too easy to have the last few blocks end up being real hard to hit, and the paddle mechanics in the Bip Bop titles were kinda janky, but the weird narrative seemed to carry it somewhat.
Also, apparently there'll be at least one more video coming from Ross this month, maybe even two.
Hyper-realistic blood aside, this is some creepypasta stuff. Except from a time before that term was invented.
I thought Bip Bop 3 was going to be much weirder.
Instead it just dogs.
Yeah I was getting a bit of a creepypasta vibe too. It's one of the things that made this particular episode pretty awesome. Ross normally delves deeper into the games he does for the show, like how he tweaked the bots in Polaris Snowcross, grappled with Revenant to get the damn thing to actually work, played around with emulators for Strife, that kinda stuff. But this felt like he was delving into an obscure mystery, the kind of thing you'd be more likely to read about on somewhere like CreepyPastaNetwork or listening to MrCreepyPasta narrate, only with actual gameplay.
"Down with the DSP"
holy shit they predicted DarkSydePhil
The POSTAL music for the bloody face was a nice touch. Ross added that in I take it

I think it was Ross throwing in a Joke
I downloaded them. See you guys on the other side.

oh well
Aw yeah, love me some Game Dungeon.
Man Bip Bop 3 was a dissapointment. It pretty much just gave up on being creepy. I was expecting, well, something, after Bip Bop 2 and 1.
also didn't he promise that that was not the last possessed teddy bear he was going to talk about
Maybe it's a hint for a future episode? Also, he tangled with a possessed teddy bear before Bip Bop, namely when he was stuck in the twisted light-gun madness of CarnEvil.
