He said he would be back, and he wasn't lying. Arnold Schwarzenegger is to make action movies again. The former governor of California told delighted fans that he is ready to start looking at scripts for his eagerly-awaited action comeback. The 63-year-old retired from playing lead roles in movies to concentrate on his political career. However, his two terms as governor ended last month, and he's now eager to get back in front of the cameras again. He posted on his Twitter site, "Exciting news. My friends at CAA (Creative Artists Agency) have been asking me for seven years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today." During his time in office, Schwarzenegger still had blink-and-you’ll-miss-him cameos in ‘Terminator Salvation’ and more recently ‘The Expendables’. Before starting his governorship in 2003, Arnie’s career appeared to be on the wane after a string of under-performing blockbusters like 'The 6th Day' and 'Collateral Damage'. However, as 'The Expendables' and the recent success of the 'Die Hard' and 'Rambo' sequels has proved, there seems to be an audience for old school action stars once more.
POWER SAUCE: http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/blog/article/144203/arnies-backbut-which-role-should-he-play.html
How old is he anyway? He looked super old in the Expendables
Terrible movie.
How old is he anyway? He looked super old in the Expendables
We'll never know..
The 63-year-old retired from...

Terrible movie.
love it when people judge action movies like they judge a drama-thriller.
Sorry, I usually don't read important things [editline]11th February 2011[/editline]
Terrible movie.
It wasn't supposed to be "good"
love it when people judge action movies like they judge a drama-thriller.
Terrible, but I still like it as a tribute. Also Mickey Rourke's performance was sublime.
I would like a Total Recall followup though :v:
what i miss in semi-old actions films is that they never reload their guns example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxYmEYBLgBE
Oh boy I hope it's a sequel to Junior.
We need more of these crappy one liners right now!
Get Danny Devito and put the team back together.
I would like a Total Recall followup though :v:
You can look forward to the remake with... Colin Farrell. :barf: [editline]12th February 2011[/editline]
No more extreme shooting and fighting? Awwwwww. :saddowns:
I wonder whats it gonna be then. He wasn't exactly the character master.
But why? Because Arnold Schwarzenegger!
