"Yeah, I am. I am going to run in 2020," Biden said when asked if he would run for office again. When asked what role he would seek, the 74-year-old vice president responded: "For president. And also, you know so, what the hell man, anyway."
obama as VP please
keep the bromance going
The democrats should probably choose someone who hasn't been in the public eye for so long.

Illegal, can't happen.
While Trump would be pushing 74 by 2020, Biden would be 77, which is getting really up there for a president, especially if you want them to be around for a second term. Sure, Bernie was running at 75 this election, but every year really counts when you get up there.

Unlike hillary, who is also a public figure, people actually like Biden, him being in the public eye isn't really much of a big deal, just as long as you can LIKE him as a candidate.
being 77 when entering office and 81 when leaving office is pretty risky health-wise, if he does run he'd better pick a much more spry VP

Julian Castro go.
Explain
by then gay marriage let alone remotely homo-romantic actions will be illegal duh
Explain
Obama could not succeed Biden, as he's already served the maximum number of terms as POTUS.
Explain
Obama would be violating term limits if something were to happen to Joe that would prevent him from doing his duties as president.
I honestly don't think Biden has it in him. I really, really fucking wished he'd run this time, but i'd say he's missed his chance at becoming president. He's too old now. That being said, i wouldn't really have much of a problem with Bernie doing the same thing. He may be slightly older, but he is an absolute machine and proved that his age isn't any barrier during his primary campaign. It could change though, 4 years is a long time.
The vice president said, however, he wasn't making a commitment to run when reporters asked if he was kidding.

Illegal, can't happen.
Technically not illegal, but most likely would not hold up in court. While the law states someone can only be elected for President twice, it doesn't say they cannot succeed an incapacitated President. However, the intention is obvious, and it's likely the courts would rule it illegal.
but will he win against kanye
Won't this just, once again, split the vote between him and presumably Bernie, effectively handing the election to the opposition?
no unless biden does some shady shit and is pushed to be the nominiee
joe or bernie aren't running for third party

It's 10 years or two terms. We've never had someone be VP after being president but I think it can still be legal if Obama only subs in for 2 Biden years

bernie almost certainly isn't running in 2020, and I would be shocked if trump doesn't completely isolate his voter base within the next 4 years
Bernie is only a few years older than Clinton though, 75 to her 69.
Some people just age well and others don't, but Bernie proved you can be old and still have lots of energy in you.
Biden is probably just busting the media's balls anyway, but I hope he continues to do so. They've shown themselves ready to pounce on anything that draws in a single rating with Trump.
Holy fuck Joe kick 'em to the dirt
No thanks, if the DNC nominate him then they've really learned nothing
but will he win against kanye
don't forget chris rock and time kaine.
Please no. He's a very likable dude, but policy-wise he's really not dissimilar to Hillary.
Kanye is a lock sorry joe
I love how people are cheering about this, but he's basically hillary but without dirt on him. His policies are center-right non-progressive, he just has a good speaking voice, and if he gets put on a pedestal, democrats will probably lose in 2020.

one term = 4 years
two terms = 8 years
dunno where you get 10 from.
