He found his way to a police station and was then taken to the hospital. He said he vaguely remembered having a sister and said something "stirred" in him when he saw the Wolverhampton Wanderers' badge on television. Steve, who is thought to be in his late-40s or early-50s, said after waking up in an unknown park he managed to find his way to the Bullring shopping centre to warm up. He then walked to nearby Digbeth police station, where officers called for an ambulance and he was taken to hospital. His only possessions were half a bottle of cola and two lighters. 'Tip of tongue' Hospital staff said although Steve, who has a West Midlands accent, was not injured in any way, there was nowhere else for him to go without having any information about who he is. "The only way I can sum it up is like when you're trying to remember the name of a famous actor or film star and it's on the tip of your tongue, but you just can't get it," he said. "It's like that - but for the whole of my life, everything that's ever happened. I know something's got to have happened but I just don't know what, it drives you mad. "To think there are people out there who really care and whether they're worrying themselves silly. It's really, really frustrating and it's also very frightening." Police analysed Steve's fingerprints but said they had no records of who he was. He said: "I could be a Wolves fan. If that's the case then you're usually a fan of the team that's local, so I could be a Wolverhampton man." Helen Jenkinson, of City Hospital, urged anyone with information about Steve to get in touch. She said: "This is not unusual, this has happened to patients before. "But he has no bump on his head, there's not evidence of any violence towards him. "He has a complete memory block and is unable to tell us anything about him."
Update:
His family found him this morning
it's like being born but older
it truly is a new year
What if he just retired from MiB?
it's like being born but older
Yes, this certainly is a curious case. That said, I have to imagine it's utterly terrifying to wake up on day with no recollection of your existence or knowledge of who you are.
So long as it's not the usual incidence of fraud-related missing memory, they'll make a film out of this I bet you. And if they don't, then I don't remember a thing about it.
the thought of that is horrifying as fuck i can almost feel all the anxiety
More creepy than the woman who woke up with a completely different accent.

I actually know why this happens to some people but I'm not allowed to say. (It's not the government or some super secret conspiracy!). It's really sad that this has happened to him at such a late age though it usually happens to people in their 20's or possibly early 30's. All those life lessons he's learned are lost.
Inception
the thought of that is horrifying as fuck i can almost feel all the anxiety
what if the anxiety overclocked your brain until the point that you forget who you are

I don't see why you couldn't post about this unless you were to specifically reveal personal medical records of some sort as an example.
What if he just retired from MiB?
No no no, they'd erase his memory back to the point he joined.

That sounds pretty identical to my new years!
That actually sounds like a pretty good deal to me, personally.
The Hangover 4: New Years
I've always wondered why people in these situations forget facts but remember perfectly how to speak english or whatever language. How does that work?
I've always wondered why people in these situations forget facts but remember perfectly how to speak english or whatever language. How does that work?
There are different parts of the brain for different functions. Language is kept in a separate area from motor functions which is kept in a different area from other types of memory.
pictured: the victim
pretty fantastic figure for late 40's early 50's
Maybe he had some serious psychological trauma like seeing his Grandma naked or something.
This is like the beginning of an action thriller movie or something.
Sounds like a real trip.
