Just after bro team finished there video, Wow. And just to think two days ago I told my GF that game will probably shut down soon,.
i have never even heard of this, and yet apparently it's a PAID mmo that has been going for 10 years. what
Geez, I remember playing this years ago. I'd completely forgotten it was still around. But not for long, I guess...
And I know just who's behind this

Holy shit, has it really been ten years? Pretty good run.
I remember seeing commercials for it
about time.
this was my childhood
Aww, I tried to play it back when it came out, but I never really got it to work in a way that I could actually play. Still sad to see this classic go.
Wow i actually used to play this.
This is somewhat depressing.
welp
there goes my childhood
you can all go home now
I swear, every day, i wake up, and another piece of my childhood is dead.
Like this, or when i learned that in a comic tie-in to the 90's x-men/spider-man cartoons, the universe was destroyed, killing all of them.
My parents have had a paying account for the whole toontown lifetime, and another one for maybe 7 years, they'll be quite sad when they hear this!
That's a small chunk of my childhood.
Hopefully Puzzle Pirates and Runescape doesn't hit the scrapper!
When my classmates back in middle school used to play runescape I used to play this.
RIP best childhood mmo

Huge updates and widespread facebook advertisements will insure these games live a very long life.
I need to find my cards.

The JRPG-style combat against the Cogs was awesome.

Also it's being closed down for fucking Club Penguin.
Oh no, I used to play this a lot a long time ago :( Oh well, I've heard that there haven't really been any updates in a long time. It was inevitable.
I remember being a kid and seeing commercials for some atrocious game called Toon Town on Toon Disney and thinking to myself "wow that looks horrible, I'm so much better for playing Runescape."
I didn't know this was still a thing, huh. I remember seeing advertisements for this years ago.
The only true MMO.
No really, I spend god knows how many hours on this game when I was younger. Hard to believe it's been 10 years.
God, I remember this. I got lost in Minnie's piano world and never played again.
In case you're wondering they're shutting it down in order to focus assets on club penguin which is the other Disney MMO (which has become far more popular).
I'm an Agent on Club Penguin so you all better give me your puffles or whatever they are called!

what
WHAT
I remember trying this out on my granddads computer, after I saw adverts for it on tv. I played it for all of an hour before I went home and never figured out how to install it again
Quick everyone get on and we shall go out together.

what is there to even do in club penguin? all it looks like it you sit around as a penguin and talk your ass off, whereas toontown had at least SOME gameplay, even if it wasnt all that in-depth and a kids game, it was still fun for what it was
i remember i used to keep redownloading the trial and starting over cause it didn't let you buy a subscription in australia.
cool game.
