Actually, the new weapons are quite fun, especially the katana. Seemingly huge crit rate, heals you upon killing.. goes great with the chargin' targe!
I turned off the chat since I don't use it, and so that I won't see all the trade requests.
I ignore the hats in-game. They are fun to have, but don't interest me that much.
I play the game, and enjoy it. What's so difficult about this?
Consumer wise it's really nothing, those who get the game because they love it and play TF2 sometimes just go with the flow...like their going to play much TF2 and gloat about it anyway, morons who buy it just for hats are no doubt the cows of steam

Just realized the hamachi headband would go well with this.
Yeah, I was running around with the headband and Katana. The Katana can be incredibly over powered at times. I killed two demomen, a medic, and a pyro in one fight in the 2 Fort sewers.
Why don't they just make the game about Hats, that's all they seem to focus on. Valve just stop it.

it looked so cool and then they ruined it completely beyond repair
and it's not like the silhouettes are gone anyway, unless you were a bell end you could quite easily see the shapes in characters

Here we fucking go again. I really don't see what you people are crying about, TF2 is TF2 is TF-fucking-2, it's been as fun as it always had, there's just a widened variety of playing styles, and damned anyone who says otherwise (though I could do without all the trade chats).
I like the Heavy hat, it somewhat suits him.
