The last sublime thread was unsatisfactory, so I decided to make one to honor the band

Sublime is a southern Californian punk/reggae band popular in the 90's
In 1988, Sublime played its first gig in a little club in long beach. This show was said to have started the Peninsula Riot in which 7 people were detained for possession of drugs and street violence. Through the years following, they continued to play in clubs and private gigs in southern California. After getting a good band wagon behind them, they were signed to a record deal by a small company named Skunk who agreed to produce their album. A bit later, 40oz. To Freedom was born and Sublime was off to a good start!
When Sublimes new single, (Date Rape), was unleashed upon the world the bands popularity skyrocketed!
they began touring the U.S and were really hitting it off with another album called , Robbin the Hood. (Which was produced by MCA Records)
The band got into some problems when they were signed into the Vans Warped Tour. They would play drunk or stoned and would be thrown off the stage every once and a while because they were just tripping balls during a show. They eventually got kicked from the tour, but eventually brought back due to popular demand.
But then tragedy struck when the bands frontman, Bradley, died of a heroine overdose. The rest of the band went on to complete the album. And went on, making multiple more albums with various singers.
Some notable sublime songs!

Legendary reggae/1st wave ska band
Probably the best all-white reggae band.
fuck yeah sublime!
I love "Same in the end"
What I Got is so freaking awesome. It was on the soundtrack of some BMX game I used to play all the time with my friend, and that song was like.. the best one out of the whole soundtrack.

Doin' Time will always remind me of Dave Mirra, even when I'm old.
Not on my favorites list but I do admit, they weren't bad.
A lot of their stuff is hit or miss. I love them a lot, hell I wear one of their band tees like twice a week, and I know most of the lyrics. I really like Slow Ride, Jailhouse, Badfish, Boss DJ and Get Ready.
Pawn Shop is pretty much their best song.
Only really like Santeria
How so?
A lot of them will be like huge ass fans or something, but only like maybe 2 of their most mainstream songs, which seem to be Santeria, Wrong Way, and What I Got. They listen to the ones they play on the radio, and don't really listen to all of their stuff. Plus almost anyone I talk to thinks that they have "new" albums and shit, and they don't even know Brad died in 96. Lol.

Not saying you're wrong, but if you're talking about Dave Mirra BMX 2, then it's "Doin' Time".

Alright then, I've never played that, I just know Doin Time is in DMFBMX 2.
Why does everyone keep mentioning that game?
