Several lines and phrases in the questionnaire appear to be lifted from other sources without attribution, including a news release from a Justice Department official during the Obama administration. For example, in response to a question about preventing bullying of LGBTQ students in schools, DeVos wrote: “Every child deserves to attend school in a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, thrive, and grow.” Vanita Gupta, who ran the DoJ’s Civil Rights division under Obama, wrote in a news release last year: “Every child deserves to attend school in a safe, supportive environment that allows them to thrive and grow.”
The Hill Education secretary cheating. That's too rich.
Is she a robot? Why can't she say/doesn't she know any of this herself?
Is she a robot? Why can't she say/doesn't she know any of this herself?
She's wholly unqualified. She paid the GOP 200 million dollars for this.
Oh Jesus, please don't vote this woman in.
what a stupid bitch
Oh Jesus, please don't vote this woman in.
Too late.
Oh Jesus, please don't vote this woman in.
It would make too much sense to boot her ass outta there and find someone qualified for the job.
It's heart breaking that this fool will be involved in our school system whatsoever.
teachers hate her, unions hate her, schools hate her, children apparently hate her, i guess its all liberal shumer tears though
To all FP users still in high school or younger, if you have teachers that support this cow, it's time to cheat on their tests and cite this woman as your precedent for why it's perfectly okay to cheat on tests/work.
I wonder how some of our leaders even made it through high school. Even talking heads on TV never seemed to have learned how to write a persuasive essay. How the fuck are millionares seemingly less and less competent than Jimbo who took his pants off in class in 11th grade.

It troubles me that my generation may very well have been the last generation to experience worthwhile(though wholly disorganized, corrupt, and broken) public education. With the advent of charter schools which may or may not get a fair shake at federal grants and funding, depending on their performance/management, I fear most of what's left of the public school system will decay rapidly and result in an entire generation of under-if-not-uneducated children. I'm personally witnessing the consequences in the Milwaukee area with the closing of several public schools. The remaining public schools go understaffed and overcrowded and the charter schools are not up to code or all together closing without notice, causing the city to rapidly approach mass degradation and idiocy the likes of which may rival the Detroit of old. And that scares the shit out of me. Despite the fact that I'm no longer living in the city, the repercussions of such devastation will surely reverberate thoughout the surrounding counties.

Remember the titty-baby tantrum that was thrown when they leaked questions to Hillary? Hope there's similar out-rage here.
There's a certain level of hilarity that the nominee for the dept of education plagiarized her answers
Remember the titty-baby tantrum that was thrown when they leaked questions to Hillary? Hope there's similar out-rage here.
But it's only bad if Democrats do it! (Not that I'm defending Hillary, but you get the idea)
I find it ironic that one of the national institutions most interested in integrity and punishing plagarism in education is going to be led by someone who plagiarized their way to the white house.
teachers hate her, unions hate her, schools hate her, children apparently hate her
Discover the ONE WEIRD TRICK that got her nominated
Oops, where are all the supporters now?
Plagiarism will get you thrown out of the education system but it won't stop you from running it. Yup, makes sense.
