We were planning to do a play through of Planetside 2 and as soon as we entered we came across huge convoys, so we decide to follow them, and throughout the videos you see how it goes, but what I thought is that it was all so beautiful so I watched and also attempted joining in, but it's pretty amazing how it all turns out. I do love Planetside 2 I just wish I could afford to buy some stuff in game. Anyway enjoy.
I wish my computer could play this game better, it's so damn epic :(
With this much action and recording it was a lil bit iffy. Can you not try play it on low?
On bigger servers that happens all the time for me. I haven't played in a while but as a Vanu on Soltech, we'd get those a lot.
Still pretty amazing experience.
Registering, downloading. I am all about gigantic slugfests and fun clusterfucks of massive amounts of players.
Oh man, I love convoys.
So fun.
It is pretty fantastic, I forgot which server I'm on, I like how there isn't to many limits on the amount of vehicles you can have on a map, it can provide some great moments.
Wish I had the hardware to join, these huge battles look like so much fun, but every time I think about it my little 9600GT runs out of the case crying burning little tears and... :I
I've seen much bigger than that. That is just your average every-day convoy.
Meh
On planetside 2 this is called a tuesday
as soon as i get a new computer im getting this.
We like to call these "convoys" zergs. They're usually disorganized masses of people who steam roll through sheer numbers.
And as others have said, I too have seen MUCH bigger.
Here's some footage I recorded while flying with outfit. I'm still a noob pilot but it was fun. :D

Too bad Planetside anally assaults my computer.
Glorious TR hording
This is the kind of thing I've always wanted out of a game, ever since playing SW:BFII for the first time. Big, all-inclusive battles with action raging everywhere. Granted, I've not played games like Battlefield, where I think you can have that, but Planetside 2 is the first game I've seen that really offers what I want/like.
planetside looks like a way better version of bf2. i do want it now.
That is a pretty big zerg, but end is rather anticlimatic.
I now have two reasons to build a better computer, Rome II, and this.
There are 3 parts to this video, but unfortunately loss of much footage meant I had to just deal with what I have which sucks, but the other two parts have the aftermath of what happens, and then night battles which in Planetside 2 look amazing. These are some of my first videos and edits so got a lot to learn.
Too bad my connection sucks so much.
Largest I saw was actually a combined force of Vanu and TR attacking my outfit at The Crown.
Consisted of like 30 tanks, 6 Galaxies, and a whole lot more.
They were barely attacking each other, it was many focused on us, and we were just a squad of like 10 people plus maybe 5-10 more random players.
The battle lasted nearly 5 hours but we never lost The Crown.
It was fucking magnificent.
I was in same kind of convoy today, I was driving a tank. We conquered 4 bases, I didn't die in any of the battles.
It was so friggin' awesome to roll up to a base with fuckload of tanks and planes.

Trust me, not when you're on the receiving end.
I know my HD5750 could handle it, however my 1.87ghz dual core won't.
Bottlenecking like maddddddddd
Oh good god!

No, this game is still one of the most unoptimized games I have ever played. It just isn't optimized for certain people's set ups. I should be able to play this game on at least medium-high, but I can't even run on low. Same 15-20 all across every setting.
I've seen 90+ in a convoy with tr on waterson.
OP is Alex Crawford
This must be how people imagined the future of gaming when Battlefield 1942 came out
We had a multi outfit operation a few days back, the 208th, 501, EDT , THEN, and ICE trying to push back the NC on Woodman. We had atleast over 150 people organized on multiple teamspeak channels. Planetside 2 is pretty fun if you join an outfit, but everything else about it feels kind of dull.
Also it is kinda bad how unorganized TR is on Woodman, the 208th is the biggest outfit here which is not alot compared to the american servers.
