Were they genuinely offended? We will never know.
10% of those jokes were good.
None of them looks like they are having fun and yet they're all staying there listening to him lmao

Your perception comes from that of a Low FOV, this entire video is gold.
"I identify as a shinguard".
I find it bit hard to believe those sorts students would actually agree to this with how made fools of they were.
The scariest part is that all of them basically couldn't laugh at themselves one bit.
No wonder the comedy college circuit is over.

I think there's a difference between self-deprecating humour that we can all laugh at and intentionally being singled out and being made apart of the joke at your expense, imho. Probably why they weren't laughing.

It's quite clearly part of a tv-show skit that I would have to volunteer for. I bet the guy even let them know beforehand what he intended to do seeing how complacent they took it.
I personally wouldn't mind getting roasted with the harshest of his jokes, and I would laugh right back at them. They weren't even that harsh since most of it was surface level attacking a person's image/mostly PC-related.
"Swype-Left" was probably the closest one I would say single outs a person harshly, but I mean that is still Dick's Last Resort level stuff. Those kids legit had little to no taste in humor except for a few smiles.
