Cannibal Corpse are the highest selling death metal band of all time, the band have gained controversy over their extremely violent album covers and lyrics.

Cannibal Corpse is also known to be the worst death metal band of all time. They also have the worst vocalist in the world.

The only CC album that i like is Eaten back to life. The song in the OP is pretty crap.

i don't know why people say they're the worst death metal band of all time, they can be cheesy at times and all but there has to be some bands that are way worse

Actually, Cannibal Corpse are pretty good at what they do. They're a very competent death metal band. People just hate on them because Jim Carry liked them enough to have them feature in [i]Ace Ventura[/i], thus exposing them to the mainstream.
The metal scene is so much like the hipster scene it's not even funny - "Cannibal Corpse are shit! Why? Because they're so fucking incompetent! Well, yeah, all those other bands you just showed me are way worse, and Cannibal Corpse are actually on the same tier as all those awesome bands you just showed me, but fuck you, mainstream idiots know about Cannibal Corpse, so they have to suck!"
As to their having the worst vocalist ever, what? Admittedly, the vocals on the song in the OP aren't as good quality as the ones in this song (he sounds like he has some phlegm caught in his throat or something in Priests of Sodom :v:):

Corpsegrinder is a horrible vocalist in my opinion. I reckon Chris Barnes was much better.
