A better way around it would be cutting out the nose, enlarging and moving it into position, and then removing any "leftover" parts and fading the resulted seams in the picture.

Genius idea, but wouldn't that lose some quality on tge nose ?

Should you wish to spend enough time on it, you could fix "stretched" details with the heal tool or by other means (Heal brush, redrawing features in a finer way with regular brushes). Otherwise you can just take a large image and resize it into something smaller when you're done editing.
