That’s what he did to the surprise and delight of Clark County Community Services, which now will have enough warm clothes to hand out next winter. Paynter, who runs Rankin Paynter Buying Center, a jewelry-exchange business, also rented a building to store the items, worth $200,000. "What I see is people coming in my store, needy people sell their stuff," Paynter said, who owns a jewelry exchange business in Winchester. "It's bad nowadays. I just told (the clerk) let's just give it away to charity."
This guy is fucking awesome!!!
Give this man a fuckin' medal.
Oh yeah, it's nothing. I just bought a whole retail outlet and decided to give all the stuff inside away to the needy. No biggie
Nice to see that some people still have hearts these days.
I wish he could have donated me some clothes :(
He sounds like a real "Good Guy Greg" fellow.
Times like this, I hope there is a god to bless this man.
oh shit i will unfortunately never be as nice as this man
I will never be rich enough to do this. Fucking awesome man though.
That's EXACTLY what I want to do when I become rich! I want to do THIS kind of stuff on a whim!!! Also Buffalo, being rich is a mindset, you simply have to know you're going to be rich someday and then take the initiative to do so. It doesn't matter how many times you fail, as long as you learn after the failure. I will be rich someday, no matter how long it takes or how poor I am getting there.

I will be rich someday, no matter how long it takes or how poor I am getting there.
“Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.” - John Steinbeck If you think you have what it takes, go for it, but being rich almost always comes down to either luck, by being in the right place at the right time, or having friends/family/relatives who are rich and can give you a leg up. The number of rags-to-riches stories nowadays is very, very small.
Actually, there are more millionaires than ever. If you want to believe it's just luck, go ahead, but a recurring statement with many successful people is to never give up and follow your dreams, and so I will. Another thing to remember is that people who believe they are lucky are more lucky than those who feel the inverse.
Actually, there are more poor people than ever, a statistically substantiated fact, as opposed to wishful thinking by you. Of course successful people spout that bullshit, what do you expect them to say? "oh I just happened to be born into a rich family and inherited a great deal of wealth, ha ha!" Humans say stupid shit all the time to make their self worth appear greater. Do you really think Paris Hilton ever did a hard day of anything in her life? Do you think she is there by not giving up on her dreams? She got there because she happened to be the product of some rich dude's sperm and his hanger on's eggs.
Actually there are more people than ever so there can be both more millionaires and more poor people.
That really warmed my heart :')
It's nice to hear about stuff like this especially amongst most of the more "depressing" type of news you hear more often nowadays.
facepunch pretty much automatically assumes that all rich people scammed their way to the top or their parents did the same thing and left them the stolen money.
