I don't have any high hopes for BF4 and the whole "prepare 4 battle" thing is silly, but hey - great if they bring back 1942's naval battles. They were amazing.

Feels like it's just half a year since BF3's been released, but it's a lot more than that.

why are they hyping it up like this. it's like battlefield has been gone for years and we're all going to get excited about a cg tank. feels like a month ago the last bf3 dlc came out oh wait it was

I don't mind another "modern day fighter" game if the make huge innovations in how the game is played. I think it's too obvious that [u]if Battlefield 4 is a[/u] [i]modern day multiplayer shooter, with maps containing 3-7 capture locations, and two factions with up to 32 players per side that are waging war on each-other[/i] game, then it wont be breaking any new ground and would ultimately be a waste of time for anyone who already owns battlefield 3 + dlc. What I'm saying is that I suspect that there may be some truly innovative game mechanics and additions that would be the driving motivator for people to actually buy BF4.
