I have no idea why they included stuff like glasses falling off or the power lines moving. Most games do stuff like that, and I doubt it took any significant time or effort.

It took me all the way to number 2 to figure this is just IGN fangasming. Fucking Uncharted had that and that was 6 years ago!
being wet from standing in water was in Red Dead Redemption Car headlights and drive trains was in GTA4 seriously?
being wet from standing in water was in Red Dead Redemption Car headlights and drive trains was in GTA4 seriously?
Was in Uncharted before that.
Muffled sound effects? Really? also the mouth moving thing was in CS 1.6 as well, go figure

Then was removed in the source counter strikes. I'm surprised they didn't mention that firing rockets at Michael's house would cause him to call the player telling him to stop shooting rockets at his house.
All of this is easy to do.
I'd rather recommend checking out the GTA V mythbusters series. It's really not myths like bigfoot or some shit it's more checking just little details like that. I was very surprised those things actually happen. There's like 7 of them, good fun.

Sticky bombs have 80:08 set as the timer
Clothes getting wet based on how much is exposed to the water? Ghost Recon had that back in 2000.
Wonder how much IGN got paid to put this video out
Why are you guys bickering about this :v: It displays attention to detail, not massive amazing features that have never been used before in videogames.

I really enjoyed the ability to talk and have a simple conversation with random npcs.
Car headlights and drive trains was in GTA4 seriously?
Less obvious things that were also in GTAIV include having traction control, ABS, and different types of suspension between cars.
The buses in GTA V have actual routes and arrive on schedule - here's a map someone made: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Wkoxlib.jpg[/thumb]
The buses in GTA V have actual routes and arrive on schedule - here's a map someone made: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Wkoxlib.jpg[/thumb]
Now all someone needs to do is set up Los Santos in Cities in Motion 2, I can't even set up a simple bus route let alone that mess.
It's still a shit game though. Wish they'd do one of these for Saints Row 4!
Why are you guys bickering about this :v: It displays attention to detail, not massive amazing features that have never been used before in videogames.
Same as CoD Ghosts, everyone kept bringing up fish AI like they claimed it was a revolutionary feature
It's still a shit game though. Wish they'd do one of these for Saints Row 4!
"The penetrator weapon has very realistic veins on the dildo. And, uh. That's kinda it, really"
Same as CoD Ghosts, everyone kept bringing up fish AI like they claimed it was a revolutionary feature
Well, what actually happened was that the devs showed it in a video being all "the fish actually move away from you", nobody else really claimed it as even remotely cool afaik.
Was in Uncharted before that.
Was in Vice City before that.
The buses in GTA V have actual routes and arrive on schedule - here's a map someone made: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Wkoxlib.jpg[/thumb]
Can you ride the bus? Or pick people up like your the bus driver?
if it's like the taxis then yeah you just press Y to get in or hold Y to hijack
Endgame spoilers right in the middle of the video, WTF
