I had a shit day at school today, so I decided to ask my mom if she could take me to home depot. Now note, I had no idea it was earth day up until about ten minutes ago after I told my friend about the plant I had planted. I was feeling in the dumps, so I said why not plant a watermelon? This is the story, of that very watermelon. I was at home depot, and it was a nice day. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing a song of joyous praise. I recall it like it was just two hours ago. I had walked into the garden section, and walked myself over to the watermelon section, asking an obviously-gay home depot assistant for help. I looked at each and every watermelon plant individually until I found him. Marc. He was standing among his watermelon brethren, proud and tall. I greeted him with a hand to leaf shake, and realized that he was the plant I knew I wanted. The plant, that among all others, I could trust. I picked him up and gently placed him in my cart, and it was off to the checkout lane. Upon reaching home, I called my mate over so he could help me set up the plant's new residential area. Ryan and I dug up the ground in a quiet little grassy knoll, knowing it would be perfect for Marc. There were no ants or weeds in sight, so it was a peaceful spot. As we dug up a hole for my wonderful new plant-buddy, I took pictures of the ground breaking so we would have documentation of day one. I plopped Marc in his new home, and buried him snugly. He received his daily rationing of water, and we set work on the fortress walls that would surround him. I had picked out the perfect wood to create a safe-haven for Marc. We set it up, and made sure the wall was sturdy, and gave Marc another cup of water. The work was finally complete, and Marc the watermelon plant was settled into his new home. You're going to eat Marc? Bastard.
Needs more barbed wire.
What exactly is that wall going to protect it from? Hopefully it's just for show :P
You need to add more fire.
I heard pouring salt on the plant makes it taste better.
Searchlights: add them. How will marc know if there's a threat in the middle of the night without searchlights? Also, barbed wire.
Has he started breeding, and repopulating the watermelon society? :q:
Hey Marc...
I sing to my plants.
My cacti of evil shall take over your fort and reap the benefits of fresh watermelon :cawg:
Build a box around it and grow square watermelons.
If Marc starts whispering to you to kill your parents. Listen to him.
I'm not going to eat marc, I'm just going to eat his offspring. It's a symbiotic biological relationship. He gives me fruits, and I give him a place to live in safety and harmony. I'll be updating his progress weekly over the summer by the way.
Wow, retarded thread.
You might want to make his fortress a tad larger, I've never tried growing watermelons, but if they're anything like cucumbers, pumpkins, and summer squash, they sprawl out EVERYWHERE. 2 pumpkin plants with about that size originally managed to take up roughly 8' x 6' of space by the end of the season.
How come it's Marc with a C :raise:
Just remember that when you search a Pumpkin Plant, the resulting Watermelon weighs 10 pounds, so you might have to drop some gear.
Wow, retarded thread.
Wow, retarded poster.
Wow, retarded thread.
No sir, I do believe that you are indeed retarded. Also Marc is a lot more classy than Mark, and this plant is pretty damn sheisty.
hot plant porn
He should drill a conveniantly sized hole in the side of one of the Watermelons, for... *Ahem* "exploratory research."
Where is the minigun?
