It will available on the PC and Mac and you had best believe that we will be porting it to consoles and tablets if certain stretch goals are met! You could play the game solo but I'd be lying if I said it would be as fun. You and your friends get to play the parts of Cale, Richard, Benny and Krunch as you run around Legarion. I know that everyone will want to play as Richard and a few friendship will be lost because of this. We feel like the game will be worth those lost friendships. And you can always get more friends, right? It is a top-down button masher, a bit like Gauntlet, and will start with 12 playable levels. Each level will be a different area of Legarion. I say 'start with' because, well maybe you should just check the stretch goals at the bottom. You and your group will burn down villages and cut a swath through farmland! Or you could do fetch quests for farmers and help people with goblins. It's really up to you. You will interact with familiar faces and visit recognizable places. You will yield legendary weapons from the comic and you'll find some shiny new weapons with which to stab people. The game takes place between issues 1 and 12 of the comic and will be like a side-story. Some of the those unanswered questions from the comics may just find their answers in the game *winky face*!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1412277313/lfg-the-fork-of-truth This looks promising.
From the makers of this:
They admitted that was a mistake. Then made another series based on a shit webcomic.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LFG FILM BLIND FERRET MAN
This is an advertisement, not news.
This is an advertisement, not news.
Couldn't that be said for any game announcement?
Couldn't that be said for any game announcement?
The difference is that this is for a Kickstarter (asking for money) by some random indie devs, not an announcement of a long anticipated title.
The difference is that this is for a Kickstarter (asking for money) by some random indie devs, not an announcement of a long anticipated title.
It is an established property, so it does carry some weight.

"Now you can finally play with your friends in the LFG universe!" I'm confused. Wasn't World of Warcraft released way back in 2004?
"Now you can finally play with your friends in the LFG universe!" I'm confused. Wasn't World of Warcraft released way back in 2004?
LFG branched off to its own thing adding elements from other MMOs in it.
oh man I remember Richard, that warlock. Those were entertaining as fuck to read
Indeed. All they need is Richard.
Yeah finish the movie first then maybe I'll consider funding any other projects they come up with.Thing has been in dev for years now.

Jesus....my jaw dropped when I heard the lyrics. A game centered around richard would be fucking awesome.

I dropped LFG from my reading roster about six months ago. While I used to enjoy the comic, it quickly picked up a lot of angsty, often schizophrenic writing in a world that was "world of warcraft like" but just different enough that it could make up it's own rules as it pleased. The comic really died for me during the "Siege of Gnome Mountain" arc, when the artist experimented with the most stomach churningly ugly blood splash designs in the history of drawn media.
Weren't they supposed to finish that one movie like 5 years ago?
Weren't they supposed to finish the actual movie like 5 years ago?
Got canned because of a falling out that was caused by the 'mistake' that was posted above.
Got canned because of a falling out that was caused by the 'mistake' that was posted above.
Really? Proof anyway? From last I remember they certainly werent saying it was canned and it was still an extremely slow but going to happen WIP.
I felt like the quality of LFG kinda degraded as it got more and more serious. Didn't know they were making a game out of it though.
