As it turns out, I met Tommy Tallirico back in '10 and I didn't know it.

Yeah, so some of you may know that I went to the "Video Games Live" concert here in Concord back in August I think it was. Well, today I was just going through some old G4 shows, and I watched an episode of "Judgment Day", and the Co-host looked oddly familiar. I did a bit of wikipedia research only to see that he is infact, the co-founder of VGL, and I didn't even know it.
If I realized that that was him, I would've asked him so much about how working with the G4 team was it wouldn't even be funny.
Anyhow, I guess you can all share your experiences with meeting famous people too.
Who's Tommy Tallirico
Facepunch only knows the pornstars
who
Reminds me of that dude here that passed up part of the Red Vs Blue team
As it turns out, Facepunch doesn't know 2006 G4 like I do...
I remember coming home from school, hopping on the couch, notifying my Grandfather that Judgment Day was on, and we'd watch it.

You get a winner because you remember it.
To think I had the chance to shake his hand and chat with him makes me want a time machine.

Huh. I've always wanted a time machine because I'd turn myself into a destructive God of Death. Funny how we all have differences.
Same basic prospect.
I love him. LUCKY BASTARD!
I remember I laughed so hard at the episode where they did "Ratchet and Clank: Up your arsenal"
I guess I just found Tommy saying "Up your arsehole" entertaining
Oh yeah, that show and guy.
Damn, and I remember when I first heard him a VGL, I said to myself "Damn that guy sounds familiar..."
yeah man should've totally asked him what it was like working with the people that totally ruined tech tv / zdtv.
oooh, back in '10... you know a month ago.
i've seen a few famous people but never have the balls to say anything incase it's not them.
saw steve mcdonald from coronation street/'the other one that i forgot the name of' the other week.
He's not famous enough to warrant a thread.
Who? No really, never heard nor seen nor smelled nor smelt him.

He is too famous enough to warrant a thread. He pretty much runs Video Games Live, a concert that goes all over the world in a year, and he also runs Tommy Tallirico studios.
He's also Steven Tyler's cousin!
I remember there was once a Judgment Day marathon, and I recorded that shit, and I watched it START TO END. Actually, I'm gonna go look for that tape now.
I'll trade you my first born for that tape.
But I don't have a VCR anymore :smith:
I met the wife of Forest Whitaker, I met the actor who player Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid, and I met Dave Chappelle.
Also, a country music band named Little Big Town. I think they're really only well known for people who are interested in country (not me).
Edit:
Oh, I was in the general vicinity of Stephen Wolfram (of the Wolfram Alpha search engine), but I didn't talk to him because he wasn't very interesting.

Story please.
Yeah, how was Dave?

He's a pretty nice guy.
Judgement Day was awesome.
Did he have one of his guitars? He had like 50 when I saw him 2 weeks ago.

I got Tommy's autograph on a VGL CD as well as Brentalfloss's and a few others.
The only 'famous' people I've met are band members and two morning show presenters :smith:
The only famous person I have seen is Stephen Hawking. I went to the 25th anniversary re-release of 'Back to the Future' at the cinema with friends. Stephen Hawking had decided to watch the film that night too.

He's from Electric Playground, he doesn't even list Judgement Day in his bio for VGL. I went to the NYC one in '09, and I swore I knew that name from somewhere.

That's the only reason they even added Guitar Hero to their acts.
