A speaker for Women's March was a raping, kidnapping murderer- is also getting a movie about her.

Only credible source is an old PT article, mostly conservative rags reporting it.
The Psychology Today piece about her; https://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/199507/crime-and-punishment
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donna_Hylton
In 1985, Hylton and two accomplices drugged and kidnapped 62-year-old Long Island real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarolo, and held him prisoner for 15-20 days. While imprisoned, Vigliarolo was starved, burned, beaten, sexually assaulted and tortured by three men and four women, including Hylton. It was Hylton who delivered a ransom note and tape to a friend of Vigliarolo, leading to her capture.

The three girls took turns watching the man. It was Donna who delivered a ransom note and tape to a friend of Vigliarole's, who was able to get a partial license plate number of the car she was driving. He notified the police, who traced the plate to a rental car facility. On April 6 the suspects were arrested, and detectives spent 36 hours straight interviewing the seven men and women. "We had to keep going back and forth and catch them in lies," said Spurling. "It was a never-ending circle of lies."
Spurling himself interviewed Donna: "I couldn't believe this girl who was so intelligent and nice-looking could be so unemotional about what she was telling me she and her friends had done. They'd squeezed the victim's testicles with a pair of pliers, beat him, burned him. Actually, I thought the judge's sentence was lenient. Once a jailbird, always a jailbird."
Any other sources will be appreciated.

Holy shit.
Absolutely disgusting, no other words can explain.
fuck her.
Yeah, it was led by a kidnapping torturer and a woman that is in favor of Sharia law.
Of all the people to lead a march for women.
What?
Heres the kind of content she posts.

What?
all news i can find about this movie mention they have no director or screenwriter. when i read 'getting a movie' i was expecting it to be well into production, but it looks like they've barely even started (and hopefully this is how it stays)

Sorry, Why?
It's kind of fucked up that she took part in the kidnapping and torture of a person.
[I made a mistake, Ill cover it in the next post]

what? i said i'm hoping the movie doesn't get made, what on earth prompted you to respond with this? did you not read my post at all?

I think he misread your post. You two seem to be on the same page.

...anyone else's balls hurt reading that? :disgust:

If the Movie somehow did get Made I think all rational people would actually boycott it.

I'm sorry I fucked up there. I did read your post, I just didn't realize the tone of the movie.
I thought the movie was going to be an exposé piece regarding the kidnapping. If they were planning on making a positive movie about her, then that is unimaginably fucked up.
That's just utterly disgusting revisionism.

It's the type of sentence that instantly creates an unwanted image in your head, it's horrible
Oh God, that description made me sick. It reminded me of that Junko Furuta case.
Probably one of the worst people you can choose to be a speaker for women's rights. What an immense oversight.

disgusting, but what are we gonna do? gawk at these people? Nothing is gonna change and it will always be the same. This is always gonna happen until the day we die

I tried change the title to say 'maybe' about the movie but it wont change. :v:
Would she get paid for this movie? If so that's messed up and how she can even be a speaker to start with is messed up.

It seems they are going to cover it, but the overall tone is going to be supportive/positive about her.

I wonder how she ended up where she is? Apparently she tends to skim over the reason why she got locked up and instead focuses on the prison time, which is bound to make it a more compelling story. I'm guessing it's the same behind closed doors. I had a friend who was an ex-con, and I never really asked him why he did time. But that's an entirely different scenario than having someone as a public speaker on a movement of this scale. They really messed up here.

The link in the post above has much more backstory to her.

Sounds like someone who has all around had a shit life. Though that excuses nothing.
Is 2017 going to be a year where all political movements (regardless of affiliation) are going to be lead by literally the least qualified person available?
Another endorser of the Women's March is a Palestinian terrorist who murdered 2 students and injured 9 other people by planting a bomb in a supermarket and then lying about it 20 years later to get US citizenship.

no bad tactics according to these people, only bad targets. They dont give minorities accountability for their actions.

This doesn't mean the actual story isn't real, but you have to understand that about the only right-wing Tea Party-ish website that isn't outright breaking the law/uttering hate speech like it's 1929 that WND outright denounced is Conservapedia, over their (blasphemous) rewriting and reinterpretation of the Bible for the "Conservapedia Bible Project". To call them biased would be underselling it.

So being rehabilitated is good unless you go on to support something that I politically don't like much later in your life, right? That's apparently how it works?
