Jokes aside the controls look so much quicker and snappier compared to the clunkiness of ARMA 2. One thing I fucking hated was the negative mouse acceleration which made it impossible to aim properly and the slow unresponsive movement ARMA 2 had. If they've fixed that ARMA 3 is already 10x better.

They have.
ARMA 3 is so much smoother, so much cleaner than the previous.

They're so smooth that you wouldn't believe you were playing an Arma game.
The mouse handling is nicer than Far Cry 3
why did this make me laugh so hard

Wish I had a gif of the time I came upon a pile of T72s in a town center, shortly after they exploded for some reason and rocketed off in all directions.
Or the time an Abrams was driving down a road when all of a sudden the driver decided to kill himself and the entire crew by driving over a rock which made them go flying off into a mountain where they exploded.

The greatest thing about it is usually you can Go Prone, Crouch and Stand up. Walk slowly in two of these positions, and run in two of these positions.
Arma 3? Walk. Walk faster, Jog, Run, Sprint. You can do 4 of those while crouched, and you can do 3 while prone. You can stand at 3 different heights, Crouch at 3 different heights, and 'Prone' at 3 different heights, Lean left or right. Lean further left or Right...
That's a LOT. And it's all easy and simple to do any of it without any of the clunkiness that just Transitioning from Crouch To standing Arma 2 had
Yeah, it's a lot smoother than ARMA 2 in terms of just about everything.
That's nice, my main problems with ARMA 2 were mainly just how clunky it all was, coupled with how absolute shit the singeplayer is.
