Wolfenstein to win awards pls
If PewDiePie wins i've lost all hope
It seems like Geoff Keighley has a hard-on for award shows.
The 'Trending Gamers' category is atrociously cringeworthy
Hearthstone, Stick of Truth and Wolfenstein deserve to steal the show. Also that "Game of the Year" has some really blatant trap options; Shadow of Mordor was just kind of good and DA:I? Really?
It seems like Geoff Keighley has a hard-on for award shows.
it makes sense though movies have oscars, tv has emmys, music has grammys, gaming has nothing yet like that. geoff is trying to make a thing like that, and he has the proper support behind it if the advisory/judge board says anything about it
The 'Trending Gamers' category is atrociously cringeworthy
Replace PewDiePie with DSP.
Replace them all with Achievement Hunters.

Golden joystick? I'm sure there's a few others. I don't really think giving an award to "gaming personalities" really validates the notion of an award ceremony on par with the likes of those in other media's though lol.
> Developer of the year > Ubisoft Haha please.
The overall GOTY list is pretty damn lackluster.
If Jeff Gerstmann doesn't win the trending gamer award then this show is rigged.
Ubisoft is on the list. ... Ubisoft is on the list...
None of these games are The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, 0/10
It's pretty funny to me that Jeff Gerstmann is both a judge for the awards and a nominee for an award.
The 'Trending Gamers' category is atrociously cringeworthy
I have no idea who any of these turds are.
Hearthstone, Stick of Truth and Wolfenstein deserve to steal the show. Really?
Shadow of Mordor i thought was pretty excellent and certainly up there, but didn't DA come out today? For an apparently 100 hour game a day isn't enough time to nominate it.
I hope ninjas in pyjamas win
Valiant Hearts please win something. Out of all the new games I've played this year, it had the most charm and honesty to it. That's my GOTY.
If Jeff Gerstmann doesn't win the trending gamer award then this show is rigged.
this, the fact he's even there is amzing
TotalBiscuit HAS to win the Trending Gamers category like come on But we all know thats not gonna happen because PewDiePie has 32 million idiots that follow him
I have no idea who any of these turds are.
Jeff Gerstmann is an awesome person who's been covering video games for about 20 years now, does an amazing job at it, is hilarious and manages to avoid pretty much all of the stupid controversy shit usually associated with game journalism so I guess he should win but I don't know if winning something titled "Trending Gamer" (the fuck does that even mean?) is even a good thing.
If PewDiePie wins i've lost all hope
Yeah but who else would win when comparing fanbase size?
Hearthstone, Stick of Truth and Wolfenstein deserve to steal the show. Also that "Game of the Year" has some really blatant trap options; Shadow of Mordor was just kind of good and DA:I? Really?
hearthstone is literally one of the most imba card games ive ever seen. you have to fork money over if you ever want to be able to build a good deck.

Bayonetta 2 should win. It won't, but it should. However, if the cosmic strings align and it does win, I will absolve Geoff Keighley of all his past sins. [editline]21st November 2014[/editline]
hearthstone is literally one of the most imba card games ive ever seen. you have to fork money over if you ever want to be able to build a good deck.
You can make a pgreat Shaman deck with nothing but free cards plus a few good rares.
and manages to avoid pretty much all of the stupid controversy shit usually associated with game journalism
Apart form that time he wrote an entire article about it.
DA:I seems a bit TOO early to even nominate it for GOTY, so far the game has been great for me
It probably just got nominated for hype. Far Cry 4 is up for a few awards too and it's been out for all of three days.
Wolfenstein is missing from GOTY list, what gives?
