That was so quickly released!
Just two episodes left, I guess.
Wow, if he took his time and released these and they were already dull and boring
Imagine what they are like when rushed?
So has Ross ever said anything about OP and BS, as well as HL2?
So has Ross ever said anything about OP and BS, as well as HL2?
There have been other guys making similar series out of OpFor and Blue Shift. I think Ross was even in a Skype call with the other ones before and he posted it online.
3 more episodes I think.

There was a reference to the OpFor one when Gordon jumped into the portal.

The one for BS was total BS and someone should do one that isn't garbage.
Also someone was doing one with Portal and that was garbage. It had stupid shit like a talking elevator.
Hm, so far my prediction fits. Next episode he could make it all the way to the final teleport and then the next would be just the final boss.
The episodes are great but I feel because he promised to finish it this year it will be "just a walkthrough". I can see that if he had more time he would make Nihilanth teleport him to some funny locations.

I'm pretty sure he will put some extra work into the last episode.
Do you think he'll decide to work for The G-Man in the end? Freeman doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd work for a monster in human skin and willingly jump into portals

He's also a pragmatist who will gladly take an opportunity to survive.
I almost lost it at him using the Vort to jump up a level.

Are you kidding me? Barney's Mind was pretty good.
Are you kidding me? Barney's Mind was pretty good.
Agreed, but I suppose some people have their own tastes. I know it took some creative licenses at the end with the teleporting and extended ending. Not to mention that the guy's Barney was a lot more casual and not as dynamically reactionary as Ross's Freeman.

Well, I think that was the point. Gordon Freeman became this mythological hero after Black Mesa. He was pretty much worshiped as a Jesus-like figure by everyone who opposed the Combine. Barney was just a higher-up Resistance member. Not really legendary, just respected.
Freeman was actually kinda badass in this one. He's at a breaking point.
Freeman becomes the supervisor of this whole factory, puts all the Vorts to work and builds a teleporter to get back to Massachusetts.
While enjoying watching their misery from the luxury of his new-found 4K Alienware Monitor.
Nihilanth teleports him straight into the HL2 Train, skipping the gman stuff?
Nihilanth teleports him straight into the HL2 Train, skipping the gman stuff?
The problem with that is the big part the G-Man plays in Half-Life 2 and the episodes. Without the 1-on-1 confrontation at the end of Half-Life 1, we (and Gordon) would have no clue who he is.
I wonder how Freeman's going to react the Nihilanth when he first sees it along with the Combine.
I actually hope he doesn't do HL2. It's taken him like 7 years to do HL1, plus there's way too much information given to you in HL2, whereas in HL1 he just sort of makes assumptions on what the fuck is going on
He started this how long ago? I feel like I must have been in middle school or high school.
At this rate, I'll be married by the time he finishes. (I'm serious, I'll probably be married by the time he finishes this series)

Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure Machinima was a big reason for it taking 7 years to do.
I personally haven't read this but he apparently said HL2 might be better for setting up jokes so HL2 might happen.
if he does, I really want to see his reaction at the vortigaunt janitor at the start :v:
[editline]20th December 2014[/editline]
I think the entire starting area will be him just going "what the FUCK is going on"
They're going to have to come up with an excuse for him to remain entirely silent.
As Freeman's Mind went it on sort of went from his internal monologue to him actively yelling at NPCs and enemies.
You could go with him ending up mute for whatever reason and just stumbling through the events out of an inability to do anything about his reputation.
Or he chokes up around Alyx because he's terrible with women. She's the only one who ever mentions him being quiet.
He is, in the end, a giant nerd.
I wouldn't be surprised if he starts editing the HL2 sequences to have the other characters react to his ramblings
