Nearly one in four millennials would prefer to see Earth destroyed by a “giant meteor strike” than have Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in the White House, a new opinion poll has found. The national poll, conducted Oct. 10-13 by the University of Massachusetts-Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion and Odyssey Millennials, surveyed 1,247 American adults ages 18-35 about the upcoming election. More than half ― 55 percent ― said they’d take a meteor strike over a victory by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. In comparison, 34 percent prefer the doomsday scenario over a win by Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
That must have been a really strange sample -- that can't be accurate with most youth. Surely the destruction of the entire planet is much worse than some idiots running a single country in the world.

are you certain
Giant Meteor will stop ISIS and end world hunger
Look, with the direction that the US is going, we need swift and concise action, and that's exactly what Mr. Meteor's campaign is all about, a true shock straight to the heart of the economy.
What is Giant Meteor's stance on climate change?

He'll clean up the environment and stop us using fossil fuels.
By killing us all :^)
As a UMass Lowell student, I can vouch for being one of that 25%.
If I had to attend classes next year and had a choice between what would happen during that time frame, the meteor would honestly be the most merciful choice.

literally who else but youth would choose the meteor option on a poll that includes it
With all the discrimination and division we have seen encouraged throughout this election, we need a candidate willing to treat everyone equally, A candidate that will bring everyone to the same level, we need Giant Meteor.
I like death by meteor because of its environmental policies.
Kill all humans and start an impact winter.
Honestly it's a great long-term solution. Most life on earth will die, but evolution doesn't give a FUCK! It'll rebound and replace everything with a lovely stable ecosystem assuming intelligent life isn't dumb enough to evolve again.

Giant meteor has never been involved in any sex scandals.

You sure? I heard he screwed the dinosaurs.

I bet Meteor shares similar sentiments with Chicxulub asteroid regarding Mexico
[editline]fuck[/editline]
oh
I'm quite intrigued by Mr. Meteor's fantastic plan for solving the deficit, unemployment and escalating tensions between the US and Russia. If I were a US citizen, he'd have my vote.
Giant Meteor doesn't negotiate with terrorists
Giant Meteor doesn't put up with Russia's BS
Giant Meteor is incorruptible
Giant Meteor is America's best hope.
I'll vote Giant Meteor/Yellowstone Caldera ticket, any day of the week.
What a coincidence :v:

No big news here, millennials are a bunch of over dramatic meme machines.
To wish for death rather than a shitty president is edgelord level stuff.

This is true. Giant Meteor once detonated in atmosphere and destroyed all of their windows.
Vote Giant Meteor
Maybe this will encourage the meteors opponents to start focusing more on NASA and external threats.

God forbid someone shows their political distrust in the current candidates by saying they'd rather be dead than live with the repercussions of political actions.
"Give me liberty or give me a long life of being unsatisfied with the current state of affairs."

So you'd rather be dead than live through a bad presidency?
I can't believe the sentiment you're perpetuating.
Must be a millennial.

You're surprisingly dense considering you apparently belong to a "smarter" generation, people are making a political statement about how much they dislike the candidates, not actually begging for death.

which brings me back to what I said before. Just a bunch of edgy over dramatics.
Surely you can get your point across without showing dislike by hoping for death instead.
It's childish.
And advocating for the sentiment is childish as well.
What a great story. All this is is a demonstration of the fact that if you make an online poll and, no matter the question, you give the potential answers of "yes", "no", and "potato", you will get 25% potato just because it's an option.
Only replace "potato" with "death by meteor".
