So you've all probably seen PSY's new song "Gentleman", right? That girl that Psy's with during the video, Ga In, was part of a group called the "Brown Eyed Girls", that originally used that hip-swaying dance move that's used a lot in "Gentleman", in their own song "Abracadabra". Anyways, the two songs actually go really well together... And here's the original "Abracadabra" music video to compare. South Korea's pop music is surprisingly good...
For me pop music is kinda like a softdrink like coca cola.
For me pop music is kinda like a softdrink like coca cola.
Only good with whiskey or rum?
Only good with whiskey or rum?
More like something that you can't enjoy like a good whiskey. Not rich in taste. If pop music would be food, it would be sugary stuff like donuts. Appealing to people for its instant moodrising qualities. Not rich and deep in taste like a medium steak with asparagus and a fine wine. Which also fills up the stomach.

Still, I'd choose this recent appeal to South Korean pop over a lot of shit tossed around America any day.
Kpop is fun to put in the background while I'm working. -And you can't help but love that hip-swaying dance. I always end up doing it in my seat when I listen to this shit.
