OK, so I got this gun for Christmas and this was so breathtakingly awesome I needed to review this immediately. For the record, I have handled and used many airsoft guns so I have a slight idea of what im talking about. OK, so on the the review: Unboxing: The outside of the box is mostly brown except for the sketch of a MP5K on it. Once you open it you get a layer of thin black foam with a little instruction booklet. If you buy your gun from AirsoftGI (like I did) you will get a little sheet of paper with the fps at departure. Mine scored a perfect 300 fps with .2s and green gas. [img_thumb]http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/8783/hpim0996.jpg[/img_thumb] Once you remove this badass layer of foam there is your gun, a mag, a baggy with two extra mag-valves, a little bottle of silicon oil, and some generic unpolished bbs (common sense says no). [img_thumb]http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/9685/hpim0997.jpg[/img_thumb] Upon taking out the gun you will notice that it has almost no weight (~2 pounds). This is because most of the gun is made of ABS plastic. The only external metal parts of the gun is the bolt handle (have fun H&K slapping), front sight, trigger, butt plate and sling swivel, mag, and rear sight drum. The rear sight base is plastic. I disassembled the gun to remove the shit load of extra grease china like to dump on for you, and to my great surprise found that the internals are mostly full steel. Performance: Once I cleaned the barrel and de-gunked the internals I was ready to shoot. I gassed up the mag with propane and found that there is no audible leak. Good job WELL. I loaded up with Airsoft Elite .25 bbs and these are my results at 30 feet away on semi: [img_thumb]http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9079/hpim0998.jpg[/img_thumb] I hit three bbs in the red circle and two on the line. Lets say 5/5 at 30 feet. I flip over to full auto to unleash hell at 30 feet. Here's the groupings: [img_thumb]http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9066/hpim1000.jpg[/img_thumb] The red X's are my hits. This time they where out of the circle but they all still hit the box (The other red circles are from another gun). I kinda expected this to happen, and because they at least landed on the box I'll give it 3/5. I go out to 50 feet and regas and reload to get more groupings. I flip to semi and three of the bbs hit the target, two of which landed in the circle. On auto four of the bbs hit the target, none of which where in the circle. You'll just have to take my word for it because I forgot to take pics before I burned them :( I called a friend over to help me with the pain report. He had a thin t-shirt on and I shot him in the center of the back at 50 feet. He says that it gets a 6/10 on the pain scale. Other shit that you care about: The gun has an insane rate of fire, 25 RPS to be exact (I tested). It's very loud and a satisfyingly large cloud of white gas billows out of the muzzle and bolt when you shoot. When I shot the gun the sound was almost exactly like the COD4&MW2 P90 shooting (they use the same sound). If you don't know what it sounds like I have a video: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PszA8xbpxJM[/media]
Added the crude pain test and more range testing.
Make sure you keep this things moving parts and mags well lubricated, couple of guys my main forum had issues with the mags.
I thought WELL guns were known for being shit.
Yeah pretty much.
